Ok read Tons of material on here . My dilemma is I want 3 inches of lift up front , I just was able to buy a pair of 6112 ‘s , but still need 1/2 inch lift to get close to or at 3 inches . I can use the 6112 with CB 1/4 inch shim for another 1/2 inch lift ( I don’t get the Tundra lean) currently I have the bilstein 5100 at top setting now with stock coils . A little harsh and want a better ride with the 6112 . My other option is toytec Aluma which is adjustable from 2 -3 inches . They come with 700 lb spring . Thinking it still be harsher ride then the 6112. Either way I plan on getting adjustable UCA’s

So since I have the 6112 and shims already , Should I just go with that setup ?? Or sell it and go with toytec??? Either way I need about 3 inches to get level and don’t want to totally sacrifice the ride !!

I bought 6112’s, but can’t personally comment on the ride. They are still sitting in the box in my garage, waiting to be installed.

Something about fixing broken trucks all day at work makes me not want to work on my truck in my off time. Number 1 reason I own Toyotas in the first place.

Edit. I’m pretty sure you’ll be nose-high with a full three inches up front and a bed full of air.

My 6112/5160s are stiff as fu(k..

I'd opt for the Toytec Alumas since others seem happy with them....

I'd also recommend Toytec shackles if you need a rear lift..
    Very happy with mine...
