I don't want to sound like an idiot but does someone make a drop bracket for the rack? Is there such a thing? I never got around to doing any suspension work on my 2006 but with axle spacers and a hammer I was able to fit 285/75/16's .

If you dropped the rack without dropping the frame side control arm pivots or the pivot point for the tie rod on the spindle you would get toe change as the suspension travels. Same goes for moving the frame side control arm pivots or the spindle side lower pivot. The upper control arm pivot can be moved up in many cases to get a more gradual camber curve without impacting bump steer much. Not that it matters on our trucks because the upper portion of the spindle starts to eat the metal fender well about the time a 33-35" tire starts to hit the upper portion of the firewall.

It's called bump steer and it isn't the same as when people use that term to describe wandering when hitting bumps.

It's been a great set up so far.

    They are Method 701s 16x8.

My right front passenger one fell off that's why I put the chrome ones on. The clips rust bad and that's why they fall off.

Picked this up last weekend. 2004 Limited 4wd with 82k miles. Been on the lookout for a Phantom Gray Limited Double cab for a while. Excited to stop lurking and start posting a little more.

Nice ride, mixed feelings about bras. Fellow before me appeared to never take it off periodically to clean/wax. I chose to go braless....thinking of Bo Derek now
