Where are you guys buying your @Baja Designs LP 9’s from? Should I wait for a sale or they don’t go on sale?

@ragofabrication and wait until Black Friday unless you are rich. Their pricing was amazing. It’s the only reason I was able to get the light setup I did on my C4 bumper.

Anyone want to help a guy out with wiring the two LP9s to the Spod? I want to use both low and high and also know I will need to take up two switches. My Overland bumper is being powder coated and should be done middle of the week. Picked up my bumper last week. Can’t wait!!!

Please update us on how this goes. I’ll probably be there at some point this winter. I was thinking they’d just be on a switch independent from the other lighting system. I would want them on when you I want them on, but I’m not too familiar with the Spod or how it is wired in. Also I will be doing rear led cubes for late night backing up and camping.

You can have them on a separate switch and that’s the easy route. With the SPOD it’s a little different since you have to take up 2-3 switches.
I just picked up my bumper now.

Does the SPOD have a way to turn off the low if you turn on the high? And vice versa? I don't think you're supposed to power both leads at the same time.

If you’re using the Spod you will have to dedicate two switches to the LP9s. One will operate the low and the other will operate the highs. If you have two lights then use the Baja Design 64-0167 wiring harness. I’m waiting on some security screws that arrive Wednesday. Then I’ll install and give updates.

I purchased the bumper six months prior to the lights and winch. So every three months I would order a part here or there. I Krylon sprayed it myself and me and two friends did all the instal and wiring in my driveway. The fact I was able to do all that (with help) makes me feel rich. Does that count?

For those that need to come up with a solution for moving the control box Vice Designs does custom made wiring harnesses for Smitty and Warn...When I bought the Gen 3 Winch it only allowed two mounting points both of which wont allow access with the 30 inch light bar. This company will make up a wire harness for you with lead lengths to yr specs...like I wanted it on the opposite side away from the battery no problem just give them the lengths. Unfortunately they don't make the plug extension cord or warn wireless for the gen 3 yet so this really is my only option.... Here is the install video. fyi.

When I moved my control box, I bought this wire kit from Amazon and was able to customize the length of each one. It was really easy to do and works fantastic!

    Agreed! On both points.
I was frustrated when I went to put my Victory bumper on and the control box didn’t fit. At least it’s relocated already, so when my C4 shows up it should all still work the same.

What’re y’all averaging with MPG now? I just filled up and it was 12.7 this time. Just curious if y’all are getting about the same.
