I know I've been looking for 4runner in LR still but refuse to pay the $20k markup on the ones I've found here. I got lucky with my Tundra somehow.

 

I’ve got my truck up for sale right now and the only thing I’ve added is the factory safe and a nice clam locker box. I think the mere fact that they’re not gonna run the full production is going to make everybody with a luner rock pro on the ground a few extra bucks if they’re consider trading or selling.

 

I don't believe there are even close to 100 produced so may have to garage one and Mecum it in a few years.

Yea the runner is for my wife as well. Between the LR one or gonna wait for the new Lego looking Full Size Bronco. Which will become my toy lol

 

Right I’ve got a 96 two-door four-wheel-drive Tahoe. But I hardly ever drive it every time I look at my Tundra and my tahoe I usually end up driving my tundra

Found one and bought in St Louis. Dealer had no Tundras on site but emailed anyways... they had a Lunar Rock getting built April 5.

Too late to modify build so rolling with it - tailgate lock, spray in, and paint protection film were only options. Now to decide on aftermarket options and see if I can squeeze into garage.

 

My dealership is claiming an April 21st delivery now. I want to believe, but it's hard to figure out that timeline since the truck hasn't even hit production yet and that's only 18 days out. Southeast Distributor site still shows April 30th. Either way, I'm finally in the home stretch.

 

I don’t believe you will see it that date if there is no built date yet. Mine been pushed back and still no build date. Last I heard was April 1 and my salesman said it was going to be pushed back but no date yet.

 

If you got money down youll see it don’t give up!

 

Agreed. The original timeline I was sent was about 3 weeks from build to port to dealership. I'm thinking end of this month is more likely.

I do Dave. I have my deposit and my spec sheet on my truck. Also what there giving me for my trade in. If I decide I don’t want it I get my 500 deposit back but I do not see that happening.

Yeah when I was in last week speaking to my sales person I was told by them they have not had any delays on any of there vehicles ordered. But I’m thinking my Pro will be pushed back a little. The last I heard the build date was April 2 but I was told she thinks it will be pushed back again. Which I’m fine with that. As long as I get it. It don’t matter when it comes in.

 

After 4 months of waiting, we finally drove home. Hell of a truck.

Well, I sure hope my truck comes in on April 20th like my salesman said it would because I just sold my GMC AT4 DMAX today, the guy is picking it up this Friday. I work from home and don't need a vehicle much but I'm already getting anxiety about not having a truck for a couple of weeks. Hopefully there are no delays.
Good riddance.

I haven't had a reliable domestic vehicle since the early 2000's. I've owned almost every version of a diesel that came out from every manufacturer since 1998 and they keep getting more expensive and the quality just keeps getting worse.
This one started making some clunking noise from underneath this winter, took it into the dealer and guess what? They couldn't find anything wrong. The noise eventually went away but I expect more out of a $100,000 truck.
My last duramax 2020, had 1,600 km and the tranny caved on me.
My last Ford 2015, wasn't running right from day one. Finally after taking it in 5 times, I went to a different dealer with a really good diesel mechanic and he found the problem in half an hour. 3 days to fix it, changed all the exhaust valves.
Ford before that, wasn't too bad(2011). Brand new model year with the new 6.7. A few problems here and there but nothing too bad. Radiator, brakes...
Dodge before that 2007.5, almost killed me a couple of times on the highway from the death wobble.
Ford before that 2005, had to replace the turbo twice in first 50,000 km(30k miles).
GMC before that 2003, pretty good truck. Rode that one hard as a work/hunting truck and no issues.
Dodge before that 1998, replaces the whole front end a couple of times but engine and tranny were bullet proof.
I'm sure I missed a few in there but I'm tired of being best friends with my service advisor's and shop foremen and service managers.

 

why I owned Tacoma, 4Runner and tundra for my last 4 vehicles. I’ll take old tech for never stepping foot in the dealers service department over flash in the pan domestic features any day of the week

 

Yup. $500 refundable deposit all the way back in November when the allocation order was placed.

 

I waited over four months for mine too! It’s such a good feeling to finally have it in the driveway. Congratulations!!!
