I wonder how these powder coated TE wheels would look on a FGT.

Edit:Oops! As it turns out, they are plastidipped.

Those are definately not OEM center caps. Or at least the "Toyota" text is not OEM. Do you have a shot of the rear of the wheel? If they're OEM, they should have a Toyota logo cast into them. They would also have the size and offset cast into them... and maybe a part number?

    Cool wheels!

I don’t have the wheels around me at the moment. They’re at the powdercoater. I do remember some markings on the back side of the spokes. I’ll have to look when I get them back.

Center caps were marked with C8089-4. I googled them and they came back as 4Runner center caps. https://www.hubcaps.org/options/toyc17options.html

Never seen em. But toyota had some accessory wheels back in the day with that center cap design. Likely not from a tundra but older

It looks like they came on Gulf Coast trucks (TX, LA etc) from 2000-2001 as a special thing from some dealers.

Whew! This setup has been a few weeks in the making.

These are the gulf coast states option wheels (made by prime wheel company in 2000-2001) They’re 16x7 +15.
They’re powdercoated with Prismatic Powders Bronze Chrome color. The wheels are wrapped in Maxxis Razr MT 285/75/16 tires.

I’m on 1.5” SpiderTrax spacers with no rubbing whatsoever.

Well here’s the new setup now that the Tacomas wheels are well.. back on the Tacoma.

[IMG] So far no rub anywhere. It’s close to the mud flaps. But nothing yet.
