If you upgrade the front axles, the diff becomes the next weakest link. Do some CVJ axles and keep the old ones for trail spares if you so desire (or I’ll totally buy an old one)

    Here's what you do.

    1) buy a 6 foot bed mat
    2) find a black Tundra
    3) tie one end of the 6 foot mat to the back bumper of the black Tundra
    4) get in, apply full throttle on a designated test course
    5) measure how far the 6 foot mat has stretched, repeat if necessary until 8 feet has been reached.

Mods, maybe make this one a sticky?

So fast dirt doesn’t even stick to it...

Just kidding. My truck is dirty AF right now. When one can see dirt in the dark, that’s bad.

Normally i keep it clean though...for when maximum power and torque is needed.

That's interesting. I remember the episode where they tested MPG with air conditioning on vs driving with windows down. Back when we had Hailey(hail damaged Corolla) I liked to think it was more aerodynamic with those dents. Like a golf ball. :monocle:

I have a new record. Spent 4 1/2 hours on the phone waiting to talk to the right person at the IRS after being transferred 3 times. They can’t even give me the correct dept name because it’s just collections and each one has different levels of access. What’s worse is that I don’t even owe them. SMH

She needs new brakes then. Lol. She can also program an exhaust brake function since the LLY was the furst years of the VVT technology. ;)

Thanks, I’ll mention that to her.
Is the exhaust brake function something thru a tuner?(I think it has a BD tuner on it)
It’s mainly our tow rig for a 5th wheel we have, the mechanics always get on her when they see how many miles she’s put in since the last service.

We still haven't received the most recent stimulus check that went out ~3 weeks ago. I have no idea why. I thought about calling the IRS but figured I would end up even more angry.

white is actually probably the fastest color.. because it loves to peel off! - less weight

Not to take the “off topic” thread off of the current topic, but do we have a dedicated first gen mod?

    If not, I nominate @empty_lord

    Edit:
He has no knowledge of this nomination.
