lol. I literally added the stage one to my cart last night... went to bed and now it’s $60 less. I guess that’s my sign to buy right?

If I don’t need adjustability, and only off-road like 15 times a year, the stage 2 is overkill right?

I've been eyeing the 2.0 kit hard for a few weeks. This will probably put me over the edge.

That is what I've been debating.

It's a bigger price difference up here. $770 for stage 1 front and rear. Or $1100 for stage 2 just fronts.

Has anyone reached out to see what the lead time is on the 2.0? Do they come with the spanner wrench for adjusting or does it have to be purchased separately? I haven't gotten the chance to call yet and was just curious if anyone knew before I called them.

I have the stage 2 set haven't installed yet. Ease of install/better performance/adjustability. As of right now, I'm going with 2" front and 1" toytec lift shackles rear.

    Buy once Cry once.
    Comes with spanner wrench.

Good to know, thanks! I have a "brake" job coming up soon and plan on slipping these in with it as well as some CB+2 shackles. EBC brakes and rotors, Powerstop brake lines, CB shackles, and Eibach shocks all the way around. Want to time it to try and get it all done in one day at the same time. Then I can tell the wife "Look how much better the ride is after changing the brakes!".

Stage 2 is also valved differently, more off road performance oriented than stage 1. That’s from Eibach.

I just wonder if it’s worth it for us average Joe’s that very rarely serious serious off-roading. I’m off pavement about 50 times a year but maybe 3 of those are anything serious.

You just have to make the decision for yourself, both options are great values, both will work just fine for 90% of us. Now decide if you want the option to fine tune the height, or save a couple hundred.

Not harping on Ironman here, as I’ve had their stuff too. Rather, expressing my appreciation for Eibachs tech group.

I reached out to IM a few times with technical questions about their kits and they have different answers that seemed very non technical each time. Rubbed me the wrong way since I’m a mechanic and everything is technical to me lol.

Eibach on the other hand has been quick and can answer my very specific questions without delay. I’m at the least, impressed with their knowledge of the product.

Hopefully I enjoy them once I get them on the truck.

You’re totally right. Me too. $350 more more an adjustable AND rebuildable system is not bad at all.

Kicker for me is not having to disassemble and reassemble the coilovers. I like the idea of just a clean easy install. Then if I want to go up or down a little that can be done with ease. Im coming from the stock black KYB shocks so anything else would be an improvement.

Does anyone know if the Eibach 2.0 are rebuildable? I am really leaning on these. I like the ironman kit yet I agree Eibach knows their products very well.

@CCLJ03 above mentioned that they were rebuildable. Not sure where he got that from as I haven't seen it one way or the other. Maybe he can reference where the info came from.

I’m 85% sure I saw it on a YouTube video but now I can’t find it! So I might be wrong.

After going back and forth I just ordered the stage 1 kit. Paired with some 295 Wildpeaks I’m pretty sure it’ll be exactly what I’m looking for. Better than stock off road, leveled front, and a very reasonable price with a good company behind it!

$535 shipped seems like a very fair price.

Little research on my part but how do these compare to 6112/5160’s because I’m tired of waiting for them to come available and want to get my build rolling. I’m looking for 2.5-3” lift.

As far as I understand it, the stage 1 shocks are similar to 5100s but are valved much better according to marketing material and other owners in YouTube.

Stage 2 would be very similar to a 6112 in robustness, but again, valved differently. Stage 2 is also adjustable without removing it from the truck. Pretty sweet feature!

The real value here I THINK are the springs these come with. Apparently they are great for on road ride quality and do very well off road.

    Pretty much this.

Stage 2 vs the 6112s seems like a pretty close comparison. 6112s are larger bodies at 2.5", but you dont really get a big boost is fade prevention until you move the IFP out of the main body (ie remote reservior).

Both are 650lb springs, both are zinc plated for rust prevention. I've heard the Eibachs are steel bodied, so possibly a bit less efficient than the 6112s in heat dissipation, but likely more robust, less likely to be irreparably damaged, so more like OMEs that are known to last a long while.

If adjusting the height to fine tune is important, or a more road focused truck (which 99% are regardless of our lofty dream builds), then the Eibachs would probably be a better choice. I dont think you can go wrong with either, but the 6112s are hard to find.

As far as the stage 1 vs 5100s thats pretty much due to Eibach pairing the spring with the shock, so valving is tuned for the application. End results should be a more refined ride. 6112s come with springs, so issue so be a non factor there.

Why is it listed as 2016-2021?? I was under the impression that anything suspension wise, fits 2007 to current. Anybody can clue me in?

I ordered the full set on Friday (4/2). Just spoke with Tanner at Eibach and he said my order is going out today. They don't seem to be as backed up as some of the others.

For whomever has the installed already, how did you know how much to adjust them? Watching one of the videos they state they should be preset to be level with the rear. They also reference looking up the "motion ratio" of the vehicle to calculate the lift. Wasn't sure if anyone used that method or just trial and error.

I just did. Guy who answered the phone, was just as puzzled as I was. He put me on hold to talk to a tech. Tech said that in 2016 spring slightly changed in height and rate. He said it's about 1/2" taller. Hmmm

Huh. I also ordered on 4/2 and they told me on the phone today they would try to get it out by the end of the week, but no promises.
