    Hey hey hey, I might have to do this T100 swap this year. The replacement booster I put in last year has been leaking vacuum occasionally. To add insult to injury it cost 3x as much as the T100 kit.

    Sometimes at a stop light I can hear hissing. If I tap the brake pedal while it is hissing the pedal firms up and the hissing stops. Similar when I park it, I hear hissing and tapping the brake stops it. I'm guessing the diaphragm might be leaking. If I understand correctly when the pedal is super hard its because the booster isn't helping you.

    They don't necessarily bite harder, but the travel is significantly reduced and they're much more touchy. They are about as stiff and have as much travel as when you pump the brakes with the engine off. They actually brake though!

    This makes sense....with what you've done I'd expect less pedal travel to create the same hydraulic pressure and I would not expect the "bite harder" untill the caliper/rotor/pad update and the corresponding increase in braking surface area. So far so good...:thumbsup:

    It's very interesting that a T100 brake booster and master cylinder are an upgrade from the first gen Tundras.

    I’m cross referencing the 2002 Tundra with the 1995 T-100 (for rear brake cylinders) right now to see their cross fitments per the websites.

    Not jiving, but the 2002 Tundra description does say for ‘1ton’ along with LC, 4 Runners, etc for these rear drum cylinders.

    No, but I just discovered it says it uses parts off of the FJ cruiser, which is a good thing.

    This is the one I have saved. It uses brake components off a 2010+ 4runner which is also a great option.

    Update on the brake booster from ebay:
    I drove about 500 miles this weekend and the brakes worked fine. I have noticed a whistle I can hear from the cab coming from the booster. I believe it has a very slight vacuum leak, but the braking performance isn't hindered at all. I can only hear the noise when lightly braking as well. No noise is present when hard braking or off of them entirely. I'm reaching out to the seller and will provide an update if anything happens.

    Just installed my replacement booster. It's slightly different than the first t100 one I had. It's a larger diameter and the vacuum port is different. Here are part numbers you were interested in @Professional Hand Model

    Full replacement took me about 30ish minutes including the time to chop off that bit of the shaft. The brake is much easier to step on which leads me to believe I had a tiny vacuum leak from the beginning.

    The company was very polite and easy to communicate with.
    This is the newest booster after it's been installed.
