I've been wanting to tell you this every time you post, but always just move on. But you misspelled "Grab" in your list of mods.

While they obviously don’t sound like a V8, my buddy has a Raptor and it doesn’t sound bad inside the cab (yes, I know augmented sound).

The new gen Raptor with the selectable exhaust also doesn’t sound bad.

Also some V6’s sound amazing (Jaguar F).

Again, I know they don’t sound as good as a V8, but when done correctly, they can sound good.

But I also must be getting old. After my Jeep SRT with exhaust, I prefer the sound of my music.

Check out the Borla exhaust lines for the 3.5 EB. Is it as good as the V8, no, but it certainly doesn't sound bad, just doesn't have the rumble. And how many people in this very forum have complained about the drone when towing - don't have that with the TTV6.

Nope, but not because of the possible TTV6 only. I think that motor is gonna be just fine. Not trading cuz my truck hopefully has a long time before it needs replaced.

Only a TTV6, I most likely won't be tempted for a few years. TTV6 hybrid would be tough to stay away from, providing it is indeed a step up.

I wonder how much of a price increase is Toyota going to ask for the next generation goodies now that inflation seems to be kicking in?

Possibly but having owned a 3rd gen Tacoma with the automatic, it’s going for a long test drive and if I have any hesitation I’ll stick with what I’ve got.

Yes, me very much likey the sound of the I-Force 5.7. And how do you know that this new "modern engine" is somehow better since it hasn't even been introduced or test driven yet?

All reports say it’s the TTV6 from the LS500 that’s been around for about 3 years now and gets amazing reviews.
