say what ... they Grapplers are sided!!?? Time to check how my full size spare build landed. Doh! yup I got them mixed and after a number of cleans, tire shines and rounds of pics had not noticed until this thread lol! I like the look of 2 better...but don't see myself remounting 4 tires over it.

To be clear - you get both. It is just which side faces inside vs outside. Road noise shouldn’t be any different no matter which way it’s mounted.

Completely clear I was just wondering if one being on the outside would throw out a louder hum

Mine are all angled side out.

@rothmigo might have scientific tests on which way is louder.

Yes my thoughts as well....6 mos I've had that tire on there like that and did not notice... but notice it every time I walk by it now! I'm still liking option 2 even though my other tires are optioned 1. Maybe I'll change another at next rotation - can't look at both sides of the truck at once lol, but then the next rotation  ... I can only blame myself b/c I took the spare to be made up in a different truck and told the dealer to mount the cleanest side out lol...first world problems.

lol don't hear much over the kids or BAM muffler depending upon their temperment and the throttle position. Can't imagine sidewall direction makes any difference with tread being non-directional. Those ridge grapplers even in 37's are relatively quiet in my book at least on the interior but still on the honeymoon with 6k miles on the rig...will rotate often.
