    Longtime Toyota owner here.
2019 Tundra SR5 DC, TRD Offroad Package

    Bought but not installed:
Toytec Aluma Boss 2-3" lift kit front and rear
Toytec Progressive 3 leaf kit (rear)
    Toytec Diff drop kit
    Total Choas UCAs
    Hellwig Rear Anti-Sway Bar

I have reviewed the tires and suspension threads, but still can't get my mind right on this question:

Would these tires be too big or about right?

Width may cause some issues, but trimming and/or BMC could fix that. Those are wide, about 13 inches, and 34.6 tall. That width will probably need 9 inch wide wheels and less offset, so if you planned to keep stock wheels the tires may hit UCA without spacers. Height should be ok. It is an odd size. Most folks run 295/70-18 or 285-75-18 and plenty is written on this site about fitting those tires with 2-3 inch lifts.

If you have not checked it, look at the wheel and tire forum- sticky of largest tire that fits- will give you a ton of info on sizes that work with minimal effort, stock or lifted.

The stock TRD offroad wheel are 18X8 +60 offset. Not sure about mounting that wide of a tire on a 8" wheel. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

A 325/65/R18 is a 35 inch tire all day long, You can fit it on a skinny wheel but it may not give you the look you want.. You will definitely look like you forgot to do leg day..Lol

325/65-18 tires are meant for wheels 9-12 inches wide. Trying to use them on stock 8 inch wide wheels will look odd, may not give the correct tread contact and will bugle more on the sides which could cause additional clearance issues. If you want to use those tires you need new wheels, at least 8 inches wide and less offset to clear UCA.

Well thanks GT7 and Frank. Great feedback.
So, anyone...suggestions for 9-12 inch wide wheels that won't kill my dwindling bank account?.
I'm not flashy...would rather have dark or black rims anyway.

Did you ever end up getting 325/65/18's and aftermarket wheels? curious how they are and what wheels and offset you went with. I just got some TRX take off tires and thinking about an 18x9 with +25 offset but worried about throwing rocks all over the truck

I purchased BFG 35X12.5X18S with Method wheels @18offset. I love the setup.
Shortly thereafter, my left rear wheel bearing went bad and Toyota I95 Brunswick denied my warranty claim and it cost me nearly 1400.00 for them to repair it. I called Toyota corporate about the.whole thing and they went silent on me.
NOT a good experience for my first warranty claim ever in my life.

Well that's certainly not the experience you want from Toyota! I assume the thought is that maybe the extra 20-30lbs for those larger wheels and tires possibly caused the wheel bearing to go back prematurely? I have 305/70/17's right now so stepping up to 325/65/18 shouldn't cause much additional strain on things compared to what I have.

No it was not. I only had about 5k on that setup when it went bad. So why are the other three NOT giving me problems at more than 15k since then?...rhetorical question, I know.

Ah okay, seem like just simply a bad wheel bearing then which is too bad, hopefully the others last much longer!
