Wanting to step it up in tire size but I like my wheels. It is possible to keep them and run 35’s?? What will be needed to make this happen?? Currently I just have 5100's with 295/55/20 Cooper STT Pro's. Wanting to run 35” in the same tire. Is it even worth it or not?

    Lots of shenanigans.
I am able to run 285/75/18 (narrow 35’s) on a stock Bilstein TRD PRO suspension no modding except removal of front mud flap) Unsure if this will help you or not.

You're probably going to rub on your UCA. Also on the fender liners and body mount. Possibly elsewhere too.

You can use wheel spacers to avoid the UCA rubbing, but that will increase rubbing on the other two areas.

If you're comfortable trimming and adding wheel spacers you can make it work for street use. Offroad or with extreme suspension flex you are probably going to still have contact in the top of the wheel wells... the kind that slices tires up. The solution here would be more lift.

Running a ~2.5" inch lift should give him the clearance he needs, correct? Alongside running a skinny tire (11-11.5") right?

    35s are 35x12.5 xwheel diameter.

If he's not running actual 35s it might work, though I bet he still runs on pinch welds when flexing.

I run 295/70r18 with a 3.5" loft and had to do a good amount of trimming, including the pinch weld and BMC, and of course mud flaps and front fender liner...

I was thinking a 3-1 lift but just wanted to know if I could keep the stock wheels. Guess I will need to figure out the offset.

You can always just get spacers

No I will never run spacers. I had them on my last truck and had studs twist off over time more than once.

I hope this doesn't sound disrespectful, but if you use a quality spacer and install them properly this won't happen again.

It's on the inside of the wheel. Those T-Force wheels are 20x9 +50mm offset

It’s all good. They were in a Ford F-1shitty
They were a very good quality and installed to spec. Another reason I will not run them, no company will rotate and balance the tires.

I’ve run spacers for years without any issues. Also, Toyota rotates my tires on every service visit with no questions at all.
