I'm sure this has been asked at nauseam! Recently put Bilstein 5100's on the front of my 2020 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab SR5. Left the rear alone. The front is approximately on 1/2 inch lower than the rear, although it looks the same.
I went to a local Wheel/Tire shop and asked about Fuel Warrior 20X9 wheels and tires. Told the kid I wanted the tire to stick out just a tad from the wheel well. He suggested +20 offset.
My question is he told me that the biggest I could go for a tire is 275/60/20 without cutting/trimming anything. Is this correct? Most of the forums I've read in here they suggest a bigger tire. I'm looking to fill up the wheel well and have some meat (side wall) to the tire. I don't like a 20" wheel with a lower profile tire.
    Any help greatly appreciated!

I have 275/60/20 , removed mud guards and still rubs a bit on full lock, but only when turning to one side, can't remember which. But mine has +18 offset, so you might be good with +20

@mreis236 what setting do you have your 5100's set to? Middle setting (1.57" lift)? I'm in the same boat as you trying to figure out what size In fit. But I'm looking at 18" wheels, not 20's. That being said, I would think a 285/60r20 would fit with a level. Not really that much of a difference between that size and a 285/70r18 which will fit with a level. May have to remove the front little mud flap but that would be about it.

I have them set on top setting. My truck looks level. The back is actually a 1/2 inch higher in the back although it doesn't look it.
I found some 20's I like but I would go with 18's as well as it gives you more of a higher sidewall. I don't like the low profile look.
One of the biggest shops near me is saying 275/60/20 is biggest I can go without cutting/trimming.

They are probably correct. But I'm sure you could still go up a size with very MINOR cutting/trimming. By minor I mean removing the small front flap and possibly pushing the front bumper liner forward and/or trimming the wings on the skid plate. All very easy to do.

Also, how is the ride with the 5100's on the top setting? Anything else done to the front or rear? I'm trying to decide between the middle or top setting.

I'm willing to do some minor plastic trimming to get bigger tires. I don't my truck to look like a clown car with low profile tires

The ride is better than stock! The front are just 5100's, top setting. The rear has nothing done to it...stock. I think it looks perfectly leveled, just what I wanted.

Wheels and tires are frustrating. Too many decisions....Hoping to decide soon

It's all up to how you want it to look. I like the leveled look. Everyone who sees my truck says it looks meaner leveled. The rake doesn't bother me and I don't tow or haul heavy stuff very often so it was an easy decision.

I think it looks great! And yes I agree, wheels and tires are very frustrating lol. I plan to keep stock TRD offroad wheels for now but can't decide if I want to do 5100's at middle setting with 275/70r18's or chance it and try to go a little bigger with 5100's at top setting with 295/70r18's.

I'm just worried about the 295's not fitting and then the 275's looking to small at the top setting.

Final decision. XD Grenade 2'S on Nitto Grappler G2'S 285/65/18. Slight rub in reverse when turning wheel to the right. no big modification. Removed front flaps.

Just heat up your inner fenderwell spot you see the tire is rubbing with a heat gun and pound it with a rubber hammer this worked for me I only needed like 1/4 inch pushed in. Hope that helps.
