What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

2018 and newer

 

Installed my tail gate lock. Now I just need to wait until the next time Bakflip's go on sale.

 

Did a few minor touches to some of the trim on the truck today.

 

I don't see anything

 

Calibrated the speedo! It was about 5 mph off at 60 mph.

3 weeks into a 2021 Pro and did a hood swap, added under seat storage and blacked out the trim. Moving from a 2016 Tacoma OR and with great pro/con math, ended up with this truck. Massively impressed and not looking back.

 

Your radar doesn't turn off when you shut the truck off?

 

After touring the south (Nashville TN, Atlanta GA, Greenville SC), my truck needed a wash from sitting in my driveway. Then I installed my Putco Blade that was delivered while I was on vacation.

No, it does not shutoff, which is not how I want it. I have an Escort 360C Radar with the Escort dash cam, I tapped with pin taps at the factory mirror connector, which feeds the dash cam which then feeds the radar, The dash cam runs all the time though, the radar goes to sleep when it does not detect motion. I want to find the right mirror connectors and or address it in the a pillar so both shut off when I turn the car off.

 

Great find, I didn't know they made something like this. I never liked hanging or routing cables to the outlet.

Any issues you have so far? Is there a max current rating?

 

I will look at mine in the morning when I get to work and see what pins I am in. I want to say a red and then a white with black stripe. I just put my radar in 2 weeks ago.

 

i haven’t had any issues with the camera or adapter harness

 

Mx4 with a backflip box2. Very good quality. Simple install.

 

Looking at the wiring diagrams, power into the mirror is on all the time (hence you can use the garage door openers with the truck off). Making it go off with the ignition would require swapping/tapping the power of the circuit feeding the TSS camera or the sun roof power (if you have one).

 

Just dropped $200 last month on their stuff. Everything they have is awesome. Looks good

I just bought a matching AWD friend for my Tundra, for my wife. It's a 2021 Onyx XT. I just love me a good Turbo Charged boxer engine.

That thing in the corner?
That's my bike holder. slide the front tire in it and lock it in with that white pin.
I wanted to carry my bike in the back of the truck without strapping it in, so I designed and built that front tire holder.

 

Ah, gotcha. I bought a Tundra so I don't have to ride a bike!

 

Love that bike stabilizer!

 

What I'm gonna do today is install my MX4 bak flip bed cover. Comes in today

 

Do you have that connected to the bed rail? Can’t really tell from the picture. Awesome mod!
