No, Rush died from stage 4 cancer of the lungs which moved to other parts of his body.
Rush was a two to three pack a day smoker of cigarettes for most of his adult life.
He then found out about his condition and stopped smoking cigarettes and took up cigars over the last 5 to 6 years.
Cigarettes unlike cigars are inhaled into the lungs.
Cigars smoked properly are smoked by filling the mouth with the cigar smoke then blowing it out.
This action allows the cigar smoker to taste the different flavors and changes that accompany a Hand rolled high end cigar.
There are no artificial ingredients in hand rolled cigars; they are completely natural in their component. (cigarettes are full of unatural chemicals all designed to make the cigarette burn.)
The potential for throat or mouth cancer exists in a very small percentage for cigar smokers but the amount of lung cancer patients due to cigar smoking incredibly small.
    Check the facts.
You have a better chance of getting hit by a car than getting lung cancer by cigars smoked properly.
Does that stop you from crossing streets.

More viscous, less hot, toasted flavor. Some people call it poor mans birthday bourbon.

1920 was my fav until I mixed this

Hehehe. You remind me of that little arrogant bitch I put in the hospital. It s probably good for us both that we are a distance away from each other. Cheers:cheers:

Nah, I'm not arrogant at all and I'm nobody's bitch.
Why all the hatred? I have been listening to Rush since the 80s and he's commented on it a number of times.
People at times like to throw blame on " a thing" for people's demise. I've known brothers who have smoked since they were teenagers and they past away in their 90's from natural causes.
Lots of variables are involved in sensitivities to things like smoking.
BTW, my little brother is a Doc for Standford and has to deal with terminal cancer patients daily.
They see people that react to cigarette smoke in lots of ways.
My brother smokes cigars as I do; Not a daily thing but we do.
Chill with the insults as no insult was thrown at you.

So, first post in here. I've had plenty of whiskey in the past (though I don't get drunk - ever), but wife has never really had an interest for it.

Then she started watching Outlander, and then Sam Heughan released Sassenach, so suddenly she has an interest in whisky.

Anyways, that's sold out (though I'll continue to look for some until I can find it - I mean, happy wife, happy life), so I bought some Glenlivet 12 Year. Quite like it.

That is one tasty drink but recently after having the Mitcher's Toasted Barrel I feel the EJ was still a close 2nd.
I'd still be pickled to be able to find either locally

You are absolutely right. Michter's TBR is way above any other toasted and I think my top! It is fantastic, but hard to find.

Got a short story on Basil.
I for some reason unknown to me or my doctors.
Got hit with a kidney stone of 10 mm last july.
No history at all in my family of stones.
Anyway it took two different doctors to remove it, the first one almost killing me do to his ineptness.
After recovery, I opened a bottle of Basil with my sons.
The stuff tasted like friggen soap to me. Sons loved it but I couldn't get past two swigs.
Found out later that the meds I had taken for this stone changes your taste buds for a while.
About a month later things were back to normal.

Strange that I can find that in a lot of different stores around here in Northern California. But I can not get any EH Taylor or others I am looking for.
