50/50 of the Range Rover we are working on. Just a one stage but still very effective.

My go to usual...3D One and HDO blues.

White Range from today. Just a wash, decon, and ceramic waxing.

The black Range is the finished product from 8 hours of deep cleaning and a one stage correction.

This is the owner of that Lexus I did a week ago. He's got a Jeep Commander and Hyundai Elantra I'll be doing once they come back from the mechanic shop. That extra little bit of freebie work paid off!

Oh and it's the one year anniversary of the business "officially" starting. Figures I'd be working a job. I need a vacation.

Ok, I have to ask the newbie question. What causes swirls/scratches like that?

Most likely multiple trips through the automatic car wash.....could also be poor washing/drying technique

What briar said. Auto car washes, dirty sponges/mitts when washing, not presoaking the vehicle, wax on/wax off washing....a million things can cause them.

Man, almost seems pointless to do any washing right now. The pollen is falling like crazy, it’s been raining off and on, which makes it way worse. Also, the route I take twice a week has some major road construction being done, do I can’t help but drive through the mud every Tuesday and Thursday.

We have funky flower trees all around the neighborhood. No matter where i park, I get them all over. They leave red residual on everything. About to whip out the chainsaw.

I feel your pain. I took off a bit early hoping to get a decent wash job in, but the forecast changed all that. Guess I’ll have to search through the “inside detailing” posts and work on the inside for the next few days.I haven’t really even touched it yet.

I finally managed to get my truck washed and Bead Maker'd on Monday, and got the Mrs. RX washed and Groits 3in1 applied yesterday. First time I have used the 3in1 so we'll she how that goes.

Still looking pretty good for an 11 year old truck.

Beautiful! I have a 2011 in Radiant Red as well. Best looking color they ever made. Looks incredible when it’s all shined up. Mine really needs some paintwork done though. It’s gotten a few hickeys over the years between some incidents when I drove it, and my daughter learning to drive in it.
It’s also got some major clear coat failure on the front bumpers.

This pic is from last summer, before the clear coat issues began really became apparent.

Washed the Pearl Tundra yesterday. I’d used Powerlock on it in November, and it wasn’t beading great anymore so I needed to put more sealant on.
I wasn’t feeling up to anything major, so I threw some Hydro2 on it. What a great and easy to use product. I’d gotten away from using it, but it used to go on every vehicle I did.

It’s the easiest thing in the world to use, and lasts a good while. It doesn’t add any gloss to speak of, so I always top it with something. Hydro2 and Reload used to be my go-to combo, then I discovered how well Beadmaker worked with it.
I’ve just gravitated to other products over time, but Hydro2 is absolutely a product I’d recommend to anyone, especially if you’re going to use a topper anyway. I’d bet Hydro2 and Spiked Punch would be killer.

She’s a mess right now. It hasn’t been cleaned well in a few months since my daughter had it at school. I’ve been waiting on my order of Iron X Snow Soap to come in, as I think it will be a hell of a test for it. I think it’s been around a year since I did a decon on it. Last time I remember doing it was when I first tested Griots 3-in-1.

The Iron X Snow Soap is supposed to be here today, so I’ll probably get it done this weekend. I’ll probably then use it as a test subject for the Jay Leno’s Radiant I picked up a while back.

Another good thing about it: I’d mentioned a while back how on lighter colored vehicles like the Pearl Tundra I struggle to make sure I have uniform coverage on sealants. The sealants don’t stand out against the color, and my eyes are bad, so I can’t really tell if I’m missing spots. The way Hydro2 is applied, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get full coverage.
Since it’s activated by hitting it with the pressure washer, it’s really easy to tell if you missed any spots. You’re seeing the effectiveness immediately, so it’s super easy to spray a little more on any spots you missed. No cure time needed for this product. I’ve literally applied it in the rain:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/neighbors-probably-think-i’m-crazy.51848/

Only issue with it is that you absolutely can’t use it when it’s hot outside. This stuff sets in very fast. You have to rinse it off within a minute of applying or it will streak like crazy. When it’s hot, you pretty much can’t get it rinsed off fast enough. It’s a bitch to fix if it sets in with streaks.

It especially happens on glass. I’ve screwed up and not rinsed it quickly or thoroughly enough before, and had to use my DA and a glass pad to get it off the windows. Even yesterday, I had to wipe some streaks off the glass. I was able to do it with another towel from my washing bucket and a little more Hydro2 spray, but if it had been summer I’d have had to get the DA out.

(By the way, this stuff works great on shower doors.)

@Pudge is also a big proponent of Hydro2. I think he still uses it regularly.

As far as new products I ordered CarPro lift to try also gonna put in another shine supply order and they make a ceramic safe off-road cleaner that caught my eye. I also need to order a couple more bottles of classy chassis I love that stuff mostly because of the smell lol. I will no longer be ordering from autogeek for anything CarPro I will order from skys the limit directly.

Yeah, still surprised Autogeek didn’t step up. @briarpatch have you ever had to deal with customer service there? Did they take care of you? Tom’s been trying to get a response from them for several days.
I have Classy Chassis in the cabinet, but don’t know if I’ve ever used it. Of course I neglect those parts of the truck unfortunately.
