The front driver's side door power lock isn't working on my 05 double cab. All the other doors lock/unlock using the fob or the power lock button. Is there anyway to tell what part I need to replace in order to get it working?

I'm happy to pull off the door panel but I don't know what I'd be looking for in terms of trying to figure out what the problem is...

Looks like the actuator is pretty cheap, but I'd like to do my best in not wasting my time if there are other items that could be causing the problem.

Buy the assembly and replace. I did one on my wife’s 4Runner and it was easy peasy.

Tad confused(must be my age)....is that drivers door or driver side rear door
If rear door, swap rear with each other to see if problem follows. If drivers door, do any of the other functions work ?

possibly but instead of telling someone to automatically go out and buy an assembly and replace, thought I would at least offer checks that could be made....but you do you !

You literally answered your own question in your first post. He stated front drivers side. I’m not one that likes to pull door panels more than needed. Pull, replace parts, and put back on. One and done part. Lock actuators are a common issue with Toyota’s. Just replace it.

It's the driver's door. Everything else seems to work... window works fine and I can hit the button on the driver's door to lock/unlock all the other doors. I can insert the key into the driver's door and manually lock/unlock the driver's door (and the other doors with a double tap) as well.
