    So, here is what I will tell you, 1/8 steel is $350 and 3/16 is $400 for powder coated black and LOCAL pick up.

    Will you have the front plate available in 1/4" aluminum soon?

    More than a few.....
    Has anyone that has installed the plates noticed any noises associated with them similar to the TRD plate? I imagine there wouldnt be but i wanted to check before i install it to see if i should put some padding in between contact points like I am going to do with the TRD front plate.

    Everyone who was hoping their plate would ship today, it won’t. I have been slowed down by everything else today... and today is my birthday... So I am taking the rest of the day off! I will plow into the shipping orders again tomorrow

    Hey Paul, I think the front skids he is developing are local pick up only right now. He wants to be able to address any issues that come up with this early batch of skids.

    As far as the cat plates, he is taking a day off from shipping to enjoy his birthday.

    Just received my hardware from Screwd. I had to get the 2 inch (1.5 was out of stock) but they should fit just fine without bottoming out. I'll post tomorrow after they are installed.

    One of you lucky people who had their plate ship out got a free Milwaukee flip out box cutter!!! Pretty sure I left it on one of the plates when I packaged it up...

    Has anyone actually had the skid plate removed and then the cats cut out? As lazy as the overs usually are I wouldn’t think this would be an issue. They want quick and easy.

    I have sold between 2-300 of these plates, and I have paid attention to other plates, and I honestly don’t think I have ever heard of a thief taking any ones plates off. Cutting through plates has happened, but only on much thinner metal.

    @Rubberdown - I'm with you .... I assume putting these plates on is akin to keeping your doors locked. It helps keep the thieves of convenience at bay. The determined crook will smash a window to get inside a vehicle if the doors are locked, and the determined cat converter POS thief will hack off whatever they want to get at the cats. I'm hoping that if a thief looks under my truck and sees these bad ass shields they will simply decide it isn't worth the extra effort and time delay induced risk.

    Just an FYI for everyone.
    Having the front plate installed still allows enough room for an alignment tech to get in there with tools accessing the rear of the cam bolts.

    It was something I didn’t even think about. Brought in for an alignment check today and as they put it on the lift, the thought crossed my mind.

    I searched out security bolts, but I think I will use supplied hardware. I'll be taking it off for service visits and knowing my mechanical luck, I'll booger the hell out of the security bolts and be screwed !
