I paid 2.50 a couple of days ago. I've got a LOT of stocks from a former employer that's tied to the oil index. It hit $80 per share twice and split both times. Then it went downhill, bottomed out a little over $2. Right now it's about $11.80. I'm hoping gas gets to $5 per gallon, yeah I know. If it gets back to $60 it's gone. Short term pain is worth the long term gain for me.
I've got a friend that's 600K in the hole right now because of that.

 

It's been a pretty nice day at work. Long and slow, but nothing broke. No emergencies. Sure hope tomorrow is the same way.

Ugh. Yesterday was too good. Slept well, great day on the job... now I'm awake in the middle of the night.

Slept ok other than staying up too late playing video games with my brothers.

I slept like shit too.
I'm on days this weekend then like the money hungry whore I am i picked up some OT shifts starting tomorrow night.
Double time is hard to turn down though.

 

I guess none of us slept well, except @Cpl_Punishment. I could use more money, but time off is super valuable to me. Every dollar I earn is literally time that I don't get to use how I want to use it. They pay well enough that it's about sixes for me when it comes to OT. Though, I am thinking I should be trying to make more $$$ to pay off the Tundra and toys quickly. My normal inclination is to cut expenses instead of working more, though.

 

You've got the right attitude towards time and money.
I make really good money for our area but we're still a single income family with two kids. Debt free beside the house on a 15 yr refi (signing Tuesday). If I wasn't on a rotating shift with a week off every 5 weeks I wouldn't even consider spending more time at work.

 

Yeah, I'm spoiled with my schedule, so I don't usually like to mess it up. Though I have thought about picking up a side hustle for a couple of my days off every other week. Just banking that money to build savings.

 

If it's any consolation, I never sleep well on Sunday nights...

 

Solid plan, saving money is addicting when you watch it grow. Remember not to keep it all in the bank.
