Catalytic converter skid plates & theft deterrent

Just got my true security hardware for mine. They were out of the 1.5 so I had to get the 2 inch. Will post once they are installed tomorrow.

 

Good luck. Was calling them daily for months and he kept saying next week, eventually gave up and called tyler, got them in less than 2 weeks. DE STILL hasnt called me back even though I was on his list.

 

He has alot of orders but yes he is still making them.

 

These bolts fit fine and do not bottom out in any of the 4 locations.

 

That sucks, I had better luck. When I talked to him the first time he said 12-15 days and took my name and number. I called around the 15 day mark for an update and he said he was getting a bunch back from powder coating that day, shipped mine the next day. I got the impression he forgot about me but it worked out. Definitely a busy guy.

I wouldn't count him out, for anyone looking for one give him a call. I liked his plates better so decided to wait and it turned out well.

 

Curious what about the plates you found to be better.

 

Just a personal preference, nothing major.

 

I had no issue with his response. I know he was out of plates for a bit since Toyota dealers cleaned out his stock. Got mine and installed it.

Better than the valhalla plates. Both look to be great products, nearly identical, I'd have been happy with either.

Any one else running the front shield from desert eagle and a rear shield from valhalla?
Can anyone provide pics/info of this setup?

I have the DE front shield and want to see the compatibility with the valhalla rear shield.

So what I did was install the DE skid and then the Valhalla rear. I marked and drilled holes in the DE so that the bolts pass through both plates. I did the same on the front....I drilled the DE to use the pass though bolts on the RCI. So the DE technically has 6 bolts attaching it and the Valhalla has its 4 bolts. You can also order 4 inch security bolts and put nuts on the top for the Valhalla.

 

Just posted them. Mine is the 1/8 steel. You won't be disappointed with his plate.
