Thank you. It's the price of having a pet. They are worth it, and it's the right thing to do for them. In hindsight, I know he would have preferred it this way. He hated the pet carrier, and strangers, so the vet would have been traumatic for him. This way he was at home with family.

 

That sucks. I've had to do it to chickens (which are basically pets at this point too), but don't know if I could bring myself to do it to one of our cats or dogs. That's rough.

It does suck, but I did it for him. I know that he'd prefer to be home, and I was able to spare him that anxiety, fear, and an additional 6 hours of pain and suffering. Knowing when to let go and doing what is best for them, even if it sucks, is part of being a responsible pet owner.

 

Been awake since 2 when the pug needed to go out and poop. Gonna be a long shift today.

Well, this new radio station is trolling me. When I first came across it while scanning the stations looking for something to listen to, they played one good song after another. I reluctantly decided to replace my least favourite preset with this new station, at which point they promptly started playing crap only. After a couple days of that, I switched the preset back, which caused them to immediately play a good song.

 

Totally know that feeling! I'd be happy if we had more than 4 stations that came in. 2 of the 4 are identical, literally play the same songs in the same order with about a 2 minute delay, and the other two play the same kind of music in a different order. Effectively, I have 2 stations with 4 ways to listen to them..... my radio stays off.

 

Most of the stations I listen to do the "no repeat workday", which just means that instead of playing the same 6 songs every hour like the country station I used to be forced to listen to at work, they play the same however many songs every day.

 

For the first time in I don't know how long, I slept really well last night. Minimal toss and turn, only woke up once that I remember, and slept from 10:30ish to 5 AM. Absolutely glorious.

Came into work, and nothing was broken (more than usual at least), and after being here for an hour it has been really quiet.



Loving it, but just waiting for STHTF.

 

So that's why I only slept about 4 hours last night...

That's like $2.84 a gallon right? It's $3 a gallon around here.

 

$3.15 here... more in some parts of the county.

 

That does suck. I wish the price would go back to 2020 prices.
