I have a 2018 CM Limited. I want to lift 2-3.5”. I’ve been looking at icon 1-3” stage 8 suspension system w/ billet UCA. I just don’t know enough. I tow tractors on a flat bed, along with utvs and dirt bikes. I use it as a daily driver. But I enjoy off-roading, and trail riding as well. Trying to find the happy medium where I get a decent amount of travel, smooth ride on the highway, but still tow 9,000lbs when I need to. Anyone have any suggestions?

While I don’t tow as much yourself. I did kings with adjusters. That way I can stay smooth on road; then crank them up while going off-road or towing. Then crank them back down for the ride home. Icon has adjusters as well and can be valved to your liking for on road smoothness.

I am in a similar situation I have been doing tons of reading and can't seem to settle on a setup.
I wouldn't be towing 9k but maybe 4-5k mostly bikes in a enclosed trailer. Im looking at more of a leveling kit setup

I have been looking at the Toytec 3/1, Bilstein, and King setups... just not sure

If I was towing that much I'd sell the Tundra and buy an F250 which has a much higher towing capacity - plus, they come stock with 34's and sit higher than a Tundra with a 3" lift. I'd rather run something like that which is designed from the factory for towing - than trying to piece together suspension parts and then go and put my life on the line towing 9000 pounds. Just one opinion.

Thanks man, I tow that much on rare occasion. Tundra does exception stock. Even from east coast to west coast. I love my tundra and I’m not trading it for a ford or any other truck. Thank you for your input though

Okay, that makes sense. Personally I'd just buy some 6112's for the front with SPC UCA's and throw some Toytec 1" blocks and airbags on the rear, call it a day. The Icon kit looks nice too if you want to spend more, though I'm not convinced it would do anything "better."

Those kits like the Icon you mentioned with reservoir shocks - the reservoir's main purpose is to cool the fluid like if you are desert running at high speed, or something with constant suspension travel that heats the fluid; for any other type of off roading its really not needed, but they do look cool.

Your choices are going to be limited unless you’re willing to wait months for some of the kits to ship.

In same boat minus the towing, want my truck lifted 2-3 inches up front with better ride quality and have best of both worlds for on and off road use. I scored some icon UCA today on OfferUp for a good deal, going to do bilstein 6112 you can lift up to 2.5 inches with those but would recommend UCA for your needs. Add helper leaf/add a leaf to rear end with stiffer shock and bags if you want and you will be towing plush
