More color options direct from them, but the silver/black that @cctxquicksand has aren't among them, so not sure. I know when mine arrived, they were packaged exactly like the photo from the toyota dealer link above (except for the part number sticker).

I've seen mixed reviews of their interior overlays. I went with their bed stamp and tailgate insert letters and am super happy with them.

I read it some where on one of the Toyota forums the pro did not come out the first year. They must be changing it. Sounds good.

Big Dave, not saying its impossible, but that's a very very very optimistic timeline, October is suppose be the earliest deliveries on the new vehicles.

Agreed given all the current production issues. Wouldn't that likely mean the 21s production run would end in May/June for retooling to start production of the 22s for delivery in August? That seems hard to imagine at this stage, IMO.

 

on a side note, I've sent my stoptech in for refinish, should I do red calipers or black?

Rear calipers too? It seems regearing is going to take longer than expected, so I figure might as well get that done.

 

I would. The rears aren't as good looking as the fronts, but I think if you're adding color to the front you want to match it in the back. One of these days I'll do mine...but I drive mine ever day so not much time to do it. I'll probably have to buy a second set of calipers and go that route.

I have the urge to trade but am fighting it off as much as I can.

1 I have 0% interest.

2 I want to see what the next model brings about.

3 I really dont need to trade, I have a great truck. I need to be happy.

 

Not sure what to tell you I’ve been buying my new pros from these guys for a second. If it’s going to be later than that I’m sure they’ll let me know. But I’m pretty sure they are in the know.

Hey Downytide, I agree with you about the 2022 going to be out that early especially if the 2021 tundras are getting pushed back. But I’m glad there are testers that are willing to go after the first year on a new breed. It won’t be me. If I’m even interested in the new tundra design it won’t be till at least 3 years in. And our tundra pro the value will still be high. When I purchase my 15 Tacoma sport I could have gone with the new 16. I’m glad I did not because a lot of guys were not happy with that new motor. After 2 years I traded that in on 17 4runner pro almost got what I paid for my 15. I’m not saying that the new design tundra will be problems. I’m just saying there will be a lot of guys not trading in and giving up there V8.

 

Well I believe he is right in Toyota is not going to build the full run of 21s..
And from what ive seen these trucks are going though the roof right now!!
I’ve been watching them go through Mannheim their drawing rain⛈⛈☔️
He said that they are more worried about the new 22s .
COVID has screwed up Production for the 21 bacth not a lot of trucks on the ground.
I would be a tad worried if i was waiting on a new build....
Its a win for me anyway i go.
Im still thinking TRX but my boys over there want my truck so we shall see..
