Waiting for my overland front bumper to be powder coated as well. Been waiting way too long since my powder coater hurt his shoulder and hasn't been able to lift anything :annoyed:

I have to put the 30inch light bar back on but this turned out great....need to add a leaf in back. The weight didn't pull down the front end at all after I added the toytec 2.5 coilovers.

They sell a bumper without the grill guard? I looked on the their site and two options for the Tundras. Non without the grill guard.

Looks amazing! Just out of curiosity why would you need to add a leaf in the back?

Well I started to screw around with the suspension by raising the front and back....when I was done with this I was slightly nose high hoping the weight of the winch and the bumper would give me the right stance. No such luck so I have more work to do....

Those BD LP9’s look so good! I definitely getting me some for my hybrid bumper. What pattern are they spot or driving/combo?

Where are y'all getting your LP9 security screws from? I know BD sells them but I can't get myself to spend 20 bucks. All of my hardware stores aren't carrying them either.

McMaster Carr is a good source. You’ll pay about the same with shipping but you get more of them to use on other projects.

Got the bumper from the PC shop. Gonna slowly knock away at installing this throughout the week (pending weather).

Currently wiring everything for the bumper, but have a question. How many of y'all hook up your winch directly to your battery? My 6-shooter is limited to 30 amp and both of them are currently taken by my light bar and LP9's. I can always throw an in-line fuse holder on it and put it in the 10a position.

Not sure if trolling. Winch’s pull like 300 amps. Wire it to the battery with the alternator attached. Use a battery cutoff switch if don’t want it always powered I.e. blue sea battery switch

I personally wouldn’t wire it straight to battery without some kind of disconnect but that’s just me. Either one of those old school frankenstein levers or just a power pole connector.

If you use the power pole connector you can wire up a portable compressor with the connector also and then you don't have to mess with battery clamps to air up

Looks so clean color matched sky silver, I never thought of this. That’s powder coated right?

It's painted. Was told powder coat would probably get more chips in it from rocks and road debris than paint and clear coat. I plan on adding some paint protection film to some of the main areas for added protection.

I have a Platinum and wanted it to be color matched like everything else on the truck.
