    Turned 80 Miles
    Powder coates the wheels
    New tires
    Window tint

Need to change the bed decal, on order hopefully this weekend.

Also looked on the dealers website to see what they were asking for my trade, 2019 Tacoma with 13,500 miles, $40,511, well over what I paid for it new.

I did my American duty and stimulated the economy with my stimulus check!!!
I did see some TRD Pro's run the 295/70-18's. I read a slight rub on the sway bar at full lock. Also the 295's looked "stuffed" into the truck, didn't like it. Just didn't look right. I went with the 285/70-18 Ridge Grappler, glad I stuck to instincts. Love the stance and look. Looks right!!!

I use Sparks at times too, but found a better deal from McGeorge for $212. Also, I don't have to pay tax and free shipping.
BTW - Much easier to just cut the bracket than replace. ;)

    Hey Matt!

If you install the AMP or Toyota step, check into cutting the existing bracket vs. replacing it. Makes the job SO much easier and I don't think you lose much if any strength. Several on this site have done this.

Thanks again for the BBS wheel. Got them all now:

I was aware of that and considered it. After looking at the cuts you'd have to make you'd end up removing pretty much all of the the horizontal support aspect of the bracket. The new supplied bracket, formed from flat stock, was roughly double the thickness of the factory stamped piece. Whomever designed that made it quite robust. Anyway, the 5 bolts and handful of plastic push pins added about an hour to the job. One could save a little time by not removing the license plate light and trailer plug per the instructions and not completely remove the bumper cover.
Plus, you then miss the dirt shower when you put your impact gun on the bracket bolts :D

Very welcomed. Almost always find the best deals for common OEM stuff from McGeorge and more specialized stuff from Sparks.

Sorry, but wanted to ask another question or two: How did you arrive at your decision to buy these tail lights? Did you evaluate Morimoto, Recon, Spyder, or others? Any insight is appreciated.

Steering wheel trim... The first interior blackout modification, preceding a complete chrome delete. Instructions on getting the part free of the steering wheel are here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRILgZG2QAs (visit his channel at www.youtube.com/NitroZ18Fishing for Tunds of great how-to videos). After watching that, it took me 6 minutes to get the parts free for painting. I'll add to the instructions in his video: The bolts that hold on the air bag (they don't come fully out) may slip back in and impinge the space where the airbag needs to sit. On reassembly, prior to attempting to re-seat the airbag, push them (again, not all the way out) away from the center of the steering wheel. It'll make more sense when you're sitting there with a screwdriver in your hand... Also, the air bag doesn't pivot out, it pulls straight out. Grip the top and bottom at the same time, and pull straight away from the steering column.

SEM Trim Black paint x 3 fairly wet coats, 20 minutes between coats, 1 hr dry time before reinstallation, tender treatment for 2 days to allow for full drying. Prep consisted of wiping the clean pieces down with alcohol. I'll update if it starts looking abused with normal use.

    So this happened today.

    20210325_092939.jpg

NOW I need to sell my 2000 Tundra. Next month's credit card bill is going to be painful... especially as it looks like I should probably get a leveling kit now. Several hundred pounds of hydraulics and plow does make him dip a bit. Did have to sacrifice what looks like a front skid plate and tow knuckles (or whatever you call them).

At least I know that we won't get any more snow until this fall.
