Longest lasting an esay to apply synthetic wax.

I have always used Finish Kare FK1000 synthetic wax on my vehicles kept outside in FL. It usually last me 4-6 months which is longer than anything else I have tried. However, its a bear to get off an after just applying to my new Tundra I think with all the extra real estate to cover I might nee a new product. Any recommendations? Not really interested in anything ceramic at the moment.

I like the meguiars ultimate products. The liquid wax is very easy on/off.

 

If the product has carnuba wax, no matter what kind it does not hold up to the heat and humidity in FL. Which is why a need something synthetic.

 

Love meguiars ultimate. I use that and top coat with beadmaker and it easily lasts 6 months.

Older product but works great- Nufinish. Super easy to use and does last a really long time.

 

I use Power Lock to combat the harsh AZ sun.

Jescar Powerlock is very good. Then there is their new product, Ultra Lock plus.....has been getting good reviews also. I've used Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and Wolfgang SIO2 paint sealant....both have very good longevity and are super easy to apply and remove. There's not a ton of data out there on the Ultra Lock plus, but Brian from Apex Detail just did a video review of it and seemed to like it.

No ceramic stuff guys. My vehicles are cleaned weekly but stored outside in the FL sun. With the exception of Finish Kare 1000 which is a bear to remove nothing last even Meguiars Ultimate only last for 2 months. Don't have the time to clay bar and stuff.

 

Yes, they also polished an old key for you. Many years ago, I did buy a bottle.

 

Jescar is great like others have said. I combo it with collinite 845, which is a carnuba but I've had no trouble with it holding up. However I do put a topper on it after every wash.

 

I don't think you have to clay for griots 3 in 1. I did but I wont when I re apply.
