Will all 3rd gen parts fit my 2021?

*probably asked before but I couldn’t find in search*

So I’m new to the Tundra scene and haven’t modified a vehicle in a few years. I’m having trouble finding parts for my year model but don’t see much of a difference throughout the “generation”. My 2021 would be considered a 3rd gen.

Am I right in assuming what fits on a 2017 should fit my 2021? Or should I strictly follow aftermarket manufacturer guidelines? Don’t want to waste money or deal with troublesome returns as I work away from home for weeks/months at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Most parts will fit...just depends on what it is. There are some differences in the wiring starting with the 2020 though.

 

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! If you post your compatibility questions in the 3rd generation forums you will get some guidance. For the most part all 3rd gen parts will work on your 2021. But there are some differences that you have to watch out for. One example is the grill. The radar stuff was added in 2019 (I believe). And the wiring harnesses are different for some systems.
