Is there a way to order just the threaded piece for the antenna. Hoping not to purchase the entire assembly.

Can you drill it to accept a helicoil?

My antenna broke off on my 2014 and left part of the antenna thread inside the mount. To get it out, I used a small square burr in my hand drill to walk it back out. The thread fitment is very sloppy so it was very easy for me to do. Make sure that the burr diameter is smaller than the minor diameter of the ID thread and make sure that your drill is operating in the CCW rotation. Go slow and steady.

If the threads are indeed stripped all of the way down, a Heli-Coil repair kit would be best for the repair.

My 2014 had about 3/4” of threads if I remember correctly. You might be looking at a broken piece down in the hole.

    I got it out.
Looked at my drill bits and there was one with a flat tip and reversed it right out.
