What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Desert Eagle cat protector skid is on. Took barely 15 mins, super easy install.

 

I still need to order true security bolts for mine.

 

Hubby and I are heading on a trip south next week and I dont have time to dick with it aside from install. My concern is grocery stores and shit like that in the daytime. The truck is secure at night otherwise so it’ll keep the tweakers at bay and they’ll hopefully move on to an easier target.

 

My wife wouldn't ride with me until I got the rear SB put in. Afterwards she definitely felt the difference. I totally feel it on the front because it feels like it tightened up the motion and looser steering. Probably not best for off-roaders but I'm using mine as to mall crawl and daily commuter. Makes a ton of difference

Yes...I don’t off-road at all which is probably a good thing since it’s a 2WD but mine is also a daily and we do tow our boat. Everything I have done to the suspension was purely to get a better ride but also like the looks with it lifted a bit but it suits my needs just fine and the sway bars are a definite improvement! 4WD would have been nice this past few months because we had a crazier than normal winter but on average we only have to deal with snow a few days of the winter.

Hey Bryce, Did you get the accent black pieces around the headunit from Tufskins? I know the other things are from AJT. I’m checking how do they look in person. By the pic they look good. Also you have the black accent pieces on the steering wheel.

 

Picked up Ironman pro foam cell 3.5" lift kit today. Gotta find someone to powdercoat the springs.

Just something tiny. Old school Toyota emblem on the grille, and polished up the headlights with Meguires mirror polish.

 

I washed mine and finalized the wiring to the 12V constant in the fuse box to have REAR Slider window: one touch DOWN / one touch UP, like dumbass Toyota should have done in 2008. My 03 Honda CRV does this on all four doors. Toyota just always in last place with convenience.

 

Bought a new compressor and the 1/2 line upgrade kit with new style fittings to start my train horn install.

Just filled up my new truck and was pleasantly surprised to find out I have the 38 gallon tank! When I bought the truck I ran the vin and it said it had the 20 gallon tank which was one of my least favorite things about my 14’ tundra. I’m pretty happy right now

 

I'm doing almost the exact same thing, how did you secure the switch plate to the housing.

 

What does your center switch next to your camera switch operate? I have rear bumper lights that are tied to the reverse circuit. They come on in reverse, center of the switch is off, and up in on. It is the standard switch that comes with Rigids, but I'm looking for a backlit switch that will do the same functions.

 

I glued in leather around opening and the panel just Klik into the housing.

 

It’s a 3 position switch. I didn’t hook it up yet. Have to figure out what to do with it. Probably driving lights and rock lights. I have Spod already full.

Gotcha. Thanks for the reply. I bet I can make it work for my bumper. What switch is it? CH4x4 told me that they don't make one like that and that I would have to use a rocker switch.

Thanks. I have their camera kit. I didn't realize they had a light switch but ill check with them about the functions before ordering.

 

Can you have both switches on at the same time with this switch or is it a or b only.

 

Only issue I’ve had with the switches from anytime backup is the blue isn’ta match for the rest of the factory switches, and they are quite a bit brighter as well.
