Had line-x in my last truck. One summer I moved 22 yds of dirt out of it with a shovel. One load at a time. No chips. No scrapes. I dont think the toyota factory spray product i have in my 18 would have held up nearly as well. It was sticky enough that crap didnt slide around but tough enough that after 12 years it didnt look any worse for wear.

 

Line X can be custom color matched.... that would be pretty wild with matching Lunar Rock

 

Thank you both!!! The only knock on Line-x I've found was that it was too tough on knees when crawling around in bed. I have also thought about the color match but I think it would be too hokey looking. I'm all about the black, and now I just need to find an installer that is passionate about their work.

 

Torrance Line-x did an excellent job on my past truck. I have no experience with the Orange or Corona locations though. I think a flat black would look nice but that would be my extent

 

wow. Glad everyone was ok. Mine is nothing like that but still bothers me. So far it looks like it's only and scuffed bumper cap and center plastic on bumper and a cracked grille surround. You can't really tell there's any damage from a few feet away but the cap is pushed back a bit. I'm taking the bumper off tomorrow to see if anything else was damaged. It's simple enough to fix so I don't think I'm going through my insurance. Color matched grille is available through toyota so I just need to find a paint matched cap or have a body shop spray it.

Oh yeah, more than I wanted to spend, nothing horrible at all, but I didn't want to pass it up. I figured I won't miss the dough over the lifespan of the truck, but I'll always remember the day it was mine.

 

Found a little mud on my way home from Breckinridge today. I’m not so sure I’m ready for spring though. Anyone else prefer snow wheeling to mudding?

Do you think they will build as many trucks in 2021 as they did in 2020?
The 2022 Come out in a few months, I’m wondering cuz i dint see alot of trucks on the ground and they definitely aren’t cutting any deals.

 

Not a fan of snow wheeling, takes 2hrs to travel 100ft or fall into mudhole that's covered by snow.

 

Breaking in the motor, so I drove it up a mountain in California. Is it obvious I love this rig?!!!!!!

Just brought my 2021 in for it’s first 5k service and the “alignment checker” as the service consultant put it, shows that my left front wheel is out of alignment. How the heck is that possible?

 

My alignment was out when I put bigger tires on it at 80 miles

 

Why did you wait so long for bigger tires?

Just stopped in yesterday at my dealer where I’m waiting on my LunaRock Pro. My build date got moved from Mar29 to April 1st. I’m not worried with it getting moved. I was told by them there trucks have been not getting delayed for months. I seen the first LunaRock in person. They had a sold Tacoma pro waiting to be picked up. The color in person looks awesome. Already received my first mod yesterday and don’t have the truck yet. I ordered door sills and driver side arm pull. That’s it till I get the truck or I might order my side steps a while. So for now I will still keep driving my 4runner Pro.

I had them check my alignment at my 5k service and it was out too.

 

I fell in love with the Lunar Rock color the day I saw an LR 4Runner TRD Pro sitting on a showroom floor. Couldn't believe it. That's what started my search for the Tundra TRD Pro. What's crazy is my wife loved the color on the 4R but then hated it when she saw it on a Rav4. Nonetheless I continued to pursue getting one. Had a few on deposit out of state until one fell into my lap in state. When my wife and I saw it there was the instant "Yep, that's stunning!" 238 current miles on it and I can't get enough of it. It's glorious. What a truck. Ours came with the Predator step bars. Have the OEM bed stamp stickers and wireless charging for console on the way. Line-x and Installing USB-C chargers is next after that. Tomorrow is ordering the ARE Cap! I'm nervous though about the color match - have not seen a cap on a lunar rock yet.

Oh one question - I too am interested in the driver's side handle - will it have the airbag like the passenger side?

I will also talk with my dealer today about checking the alignment. I actually feel like the truck pulls to the right just a little. Better get it checked now!

 

Yes the driver side air bag will still work. You don’t touch that what I seen watching you tube install. I got mine from sparks Toyota yesterday. I figure I my well get it now instead of using the steering wheel to get in. Lol.

I haven’t seen any Lunar Rock shells yet either, I’m interested to see the color match!
