Hey everyone. I just bought my second Tundra, a 2021 SR5. I noticed the headliner right above the rear window, doesn’t tuck into the window trim. It is just handing there. Dealership said ‘all the new Tundras are like that’. Is that true?

Thanks for the replies. I wasn’t smart enough to take a pic before I dropped it off at the dealership. But it seems top be normal. Thanks again!

My 2021 RAV4 is similar. Looks unfinished.

Non Tucker here too, even along the front window.

I noticed it when I did my dashcam wiring.

Something to do with ceiling airbags? They may not want much resistance when they activate? I dunno.

My 2018 Limited was like that in the front by the sunroof controls/map lights. Not tucked in. Took back to dealer right away. They replaced the headliner and turned out that the overhead console has an adjustment and that fixed the problem up front. The back is just like yours in the picture. After that, I never worried about it again and it has not deteriorated any further. Besides, I don't ride in the back :)

That is a pretty solid consensus. Thank you everyone - I guess that is just the way they are put together.
