    Lots of shenanigans.
I am looking for pressure washer recommendations to wash my truck. I had a Greenworks 1800 PSI (link below). After a couple of years, it decided to stop running. I hated this pressure washer it was mediocre for cleaning the truck. I also hated the number of cords that were involved when using it (power cord, hose, and the foam gun cord). I'd like one that is battery-operated and more on the budget side.

I use a Ryobi 2300 electric power washer with a foam cannon attachment.gets the grime off and I think it has just enough power to get the mud off without too much scrubbing

I'm on my second one of those from Lowes. First one died while in use, took it back and after some haggling over what an extended warranty was I got a new one. They are disposable.

I found one that had great reviews, great price, and absolutely no cords/hoses! very versatile, cool LED's, and pretty cool design/colors too. Only downside is pressure isn't as good as some of the others. But you can't have it all I guess.

I have been using it for at least three years and no issues. Good luck with your next selection of a pressure washer

None of the battery powered ones that I've seen have anywhere near the PSI or GPM of even the weakest electric ones. The WORX 40v one has a max psi of 450, and a max gpm of 0.9. You can simplify your life a little if you can wall mount your system. I know one of the more popular pressure washers to do this with is the Karcher 1700. I have a SunJoe SPX3000, and will go to a wall mounted setup once it dies.....2 years and still going strong, though. There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to do this, even on a budget.

Negative. Was running well and it shut off completely. Tried to restart and it’s hard to pull. Released all the pressure and still hard. Took off spark plug and still hard to pull. Going to check the flywheel key and the pump. Engine doesn’t seem seized as it’s hard to pull but still able to.

I'm a small engine tinkerer. Still using the curb throwaway Karcher powered by a Honda GCV160 gas motor that I found 5 yrs ago. All it needed was a carb cleaning to fix the no start issue.

I've had this one for at least 12 years. Always starts with max 3 pulls in the spring. It's over kill for what @YotaBro wants, but it's been reliable.

Do not expect to have a long-term relationship with a pressure washer. The only way that can possibly happen is that you are technically competent at changing pumps and the driver motors.

Pressure washers are a product from hell. I just changed the pump and rebuilt the carb on my Troy-Bilt 2.5 gal @2800 psi model. I got her humming again. Next year, I'll probably have to redo the carb again. :frusty:

Ive been using the larger version of that one for over 3 years now with no issue. I’ve used it a hell of a lot also. I think mine is 2300 psi and 2.3 gpm. It’s plenty of power for washing cars and the house.

That’s why I finally just went electric. Pressure washers have to be the most sensitive pieces of equipment known to man.

I have never had a pressure washer fail. I do use only non-ethanol fuel and I don't let it run for more than a minute without pumping water. A good way to kill the pump is to let it sit there running while fiddling with something else. The water heats up a cooks the seals.

I have the higher pressure version of that unit, think it is 2000-2200psi and have loved it. Works great for washing cars. Could use more power for house use but fits my needs, cost was great and I love being able to just plug it in and go...no gas, oil, etc.

Spend a little more, skip the 1800psi one (we use one of the 1800s at work and it needs more psi) and get the unit just above this one you posted. It should be around 2000 psi or a bit more.

Ok so to retract my comment about Honda pressure washer. Motor seems to be good. Pump went out so was causing the motor to be difficult to turn. Looks like the shaft key came off and caused the resistance when trying to start. Now time for a new pump.

I never doubted the motor. Honda lawnmowers, same basic motor, run forever. It's always some other part of the system that goes.

Ah, an old Annovi Reverberi pump.

I believe this (link below) is the exact replacement you need ("EZ" model). This is probably your best price with free shipping. Your pressure washer is a "Non-SX" model meaning the circular hole in one pump leg is OPPOSITE the inlet and discharge pipes. If the pump orientation is such that the circular hole in the leg is on the SAME side as the inlet and discharge, then the model number will have SX as the final two characters. SX model number pumps WILL NOT WORK on your PW.

This is the number that’s on it. I’ve seen some on Amazon for like 70 bucks.

Yeah, that's the model number I used to search.

Amazon wasn't cheapest on the upgrade model I wanted (RMW25G28EZ-SX). I didn't see your AR model number pumps that cheap on Amazon, but there are plenty of other brand replacements for less money.

GPM is key when using a foam cannon. Unless you absolutely want the style of the 1700, I'd suggest getting something with higher GPM, like the SunJoe SPX3000. I've had mine for two years with zero issues. It's specs say 1.76 gpm, which is overstated. I've tested it, and it's closer to 1.4 gpm. Works very well with a foam cannon.
I'll be getting my wall mount setup going soon, as soon as I can get my hands on an Active VE52 pressure washer. It is getting very good reviews, and is performing very close to it's stated specs. Unfortunately, they are out of stock everywhere right now.

yeah I don't have much space to work with -- storage is at a premium in our garage right now. so to that end, the cube is fitting the bill. who knows i may switch it up and get the SunJoe, it was second on my list

I've heard very good things bout the cube. If it had a higher GPM, I'd be considering it for my wall mount setup
