Yeah but parking was a nightmare in some spots in my old Sentra the last time I was there and I didn’t feel like paying on a vehicle that was mainly going to sit for three years.

Oh yeah it looks great! How are yours holding up? Did you completely disassemble the dash to get to those silver trim pieces?

Its holding up well. I had the dash apart as I was doing an audio upgrade at the same time.

Finally finished my FRAC install that I bought from @Angry Gunny Not loving the camera position, but it will serve it's purpose on my SR5 grill. The HU pic is flushed due to the wonderful sunshine we had today. For $13, it's not a bad cam. Not great, but not bad.

Haha. That's right, he said parking was terrible. The beamer got driven mostly in town, but drove his truck to and from work and that was about it

I like the Voodoo Max and the RCI aluminum racks, but not a fan of the adapters for the tonneau covers.
Seems like an afterthought and not very well designed.
CBI's rack works with tonneau covers without needing an adapter, but only come in steel.

Maybe Voodoo or RCI will redesign their footings to work without an adapter. It wouldn't take much, just offset the uprights about 1/2" outboard and it would be perfect.

Lot's of folks have colormatched the chrome pieces. You can order the entire surround and hood bulge from Toyota, and get either painted or black bumper covers from bumpershellz. You're right on the shipping though, may make it not worth it. Not sure if there's a Toyota dealership on the island, but if so getting the Toyota parts may not be as bad as ordering them from the mainland.
I think your color blue would look good with the chrome parts blacked out instead of color match. You could try plastidip or line-x to black them out.

I changed the lenses in the S2s to amber, color matched the letters in the grill and plastidiped the bumper caps. Here are the before and after pictures.20210310_183605.jpg 20210317_175537.jpg

I bought a RAV4 as a daily driver the day I bought my wife a 4Runner. I made it halfway home, turned around and returned it to buy myself a 4Runner. That car IS a clowncar

Took the cheesy ass J hooks off my Craftsman toolbox and replaced them with Dewhel toolbox tiedowns; I wasn't real sure those J hooks were keeping the toolbox secure.

    20210317_183620.jpg 20210317_183630.jpg 20210317_183809.jpg

Not many tools needed - needed the deep socket to get the J Hooks off because the threaded portion stuck up so far.

    20210317_184310.jpg

And finally, put my emblems on the liftgate. Franklin Lodge, Grafton MA, Libanus Lodge #47, Bristol VT and Widows Sons #113, Barre VT under dispensation, and Mount Sinai #3 Shrine, Montpelier, VT.

Bumped over 3000 miles today in just over 71 days of ownership. Loving everything about this truck.

Have some upgrades on the way, that I should be able to get done this weekend. Just cosmetic stuff, but fun none the less.

This is me trying not to drive it a lot. I have an '86 CJ7 that has the least mileage of my four other cars, but it's at 106k.

    2012 Durango with 126k, 2011 Sonata with 115k, and an 08 Ram 2500 with 110k.

well....I've always had high mileage on my vehicles....I thought that's what they're made for???? I purchase my vehicles to drive, not to sit in the drive-way all year.
I traded my 2014 Tacoma @ 114k miles in November for my 2021 Tundra and still received a very good trade-in value for it....right now my Tundra is sitting at 2,800 miles but that's only because I'm working from home
