I got an email a week ago saying YWF34 would be in update 1.2.9.8, and I just downloaded 1.2.9.9 and still don't see that available in the supercharged calibrations. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Not in it yet, but will be this weekend with another big update for the Tundra. We had to release 1.2.9.9 because some older Tundras had an issue where they couldn't flash.

Edit * it will also include YWF99 and flex fuel table control support\

Edit ** to be clear YWF99 and YWF34 Def support is already in the software, the stock files just aren't in the installer

If you update, you can just look in the folder...:p

So I updated this morning. I don't see any calibrations like the one you listed. All the supercharged calibrations begin YWF... All the N/A calibrations are 89663-0xxxx, ignoring the 89663. 0CM52 is in there and has been for a while, are you transposing your numbers? There's also 0CM52 Upgrade that's been there for a week or so...

Yep I was trasnposign them :D

I havent updated in a while and have been chomping at the bit to open the 0CM51 file just to start playing with the tuner, but Matt said if I did that I would need to use credits to open the CM52(updated) one when it was available.... so I just tried to stay away until it was here. :)

    OVTune,

I havent opened anything yet... should I open "0CM52" or "0CM52 Upgrade"? Current file is a CM51 custom from you.

Also, will either of those CM52 files be able to flash the previous custom 0CM51 on top if I want to?

Can someone with the Tuner Confirm this?
I certainly understand for tunes sent OUT to flash, but does the VFTuner not allow us the option to disable DTCs? Even HPT has this option. I definetly want (need) OVT for the ethanol and awesome trans tables.. but I definitely have some DTC's I need to address too.

If you unlock 0CM52, you can access either regular 0CM52, or 0CM52 Upgrade.
The 0CM52 upgrade calibration is for 0CM51 trucks so they can upgrade to 0CM52.
It is fully backwards compatible, which means you can flash BACK to 0CM51 if you want.

vF Tuner does not have DTC access yet.

So we won't get an error message saying that the "current ECU software does not match selected file" when updating from OCM51 to OCM52/OCM52 Upgrade?

What’s improved or changes on the 0CM52 upgrade?

I’m 0CM51 right now with your older style flash tuner.

    @OVTune

Are you planning DTC ability for those who do off road stuff and have the mods that throw codes? (Ie: Maf out of limits from larger intake, high flow cats throwing p0230/p0240 etc)

issues, errors, troubleshooting needs to be sent to zendesk.

But this specific error is because you're trying to save in the installation folder. Save it somewhere else.

Thanks. Zendesk hasn’t responded to several emails in months. I’ve given up on zendesk to be honest.

ok well for future reference this is not the place to put troubleshooting errors.
We have a section for that on our forum

    forum.vftuner.com
please use it if you don't want to use zendesk.

i sent you a reply to zendesk about what you said. It’s a bit of a rant but I think you’ll know where I’m coming from.

    So.. question..

For a BASE TRD SC tune for my 2019nnon FFV..

I need to purchase a VF tune software and cable?

The Kit for $350 will come with a Base TRD SC tune?

I can make adjustments to the TUNE as I go as well?

    Am I understanding this correctly?

wanted to make sure before I make the purchase.

    Thank you in advance

You will need to purchase the $350 kit which comes with a Tactrix cable: https://vftuner.com/collections/vf/products/vforest-tuner-software-flash-cable and also purchase the "tune pack": https://vftuner.com/collections/tune-packs/products/tundra-5-7l-2018-vf-tune-pack to get access to the supercharger base calibration. If you just purchase the $350 kit, you'll have access to the "base tune" which is what is stock on the truck, and will have a lot more work to do (and will most definitely need to find a dyno).

    Thank you for the response!

The BASE tune would be the TRD SC base tune.. Correct?

There is no TRD supercharger tune for a 2019 Tundra. TRD stopped providing calibrations for Tundras after 2015, when the program was discontinued.

You are looking for a base calibration for a supercharged engine, which that tune pack will get you.
