I got suspension put on it 2020. Pro Comp Pro Runner coil overs with external resi's lifiting the front 3 inches. A few months ago and after a LOT of research I got wheels and tires. Others on the forum have the same set up and no rub. The wheels are 20" with a +20 offset. The tires are BFG KO2 295/60R/20.

The drivers front is the only rub. It rubs on the cab mount at mid turn in both directions, more noticable in reverse. This is the spacing between the wheel and wheel well. The drivers wheel seems to sit further back in the wheel well. I am concerned the drivers side caster is off and 4 Wheel Parts tells me if they adjust the caster they might not be able to align the truck. They suggest a CMC

First picture is passanger side and second is drivers side. Suggestions?

I would say take it back and tell them to give it another shot. I did this with a shop and they swore up and down they wouldnt get caster any better after an alignment they did. I pressured them to try again and after the second alignment of course they miraculously did better and I thank god I pressed them on it. Seems like now days these shops give it one shot and give up.

I realize that UCA's are my next option prior to CMC but wanted to see what others thoughts were. UCA are $$$.

Yes they are. I run SPC's on mine. 3 inches is right on the edge of go/no go when it comes to alignment with stock UCA's on these trucks.

Thanks. I got them agreeing to do that now. They aligned it with the suspension upgrade in 2020 but have not re-aligned since tire and wheels in February 2021. I agree they seem reluctant to do a re-alignment, but the the shop manager seems like a cool cat and recommends a re-alignment. I have to get an appointment to get down there. I did buy BAMF CMC plates just in case ($15.99 and free shipping). I will bring them along just in case.

    Thank for sharing your experience.

Have them check/adjust it again and provide you printouts of before and after. I just had alignment done on stock suspension and had to take back to adjust caster split more to correct road crown drift.

funny you should say that. When I got the suspension I asked for the truck to be level. now at 3" in the front and a add-a-leaf in the rear the truck sits "nose up" by about an inch. Of course they recommend a 1" block to the rear. I really dont want to go much higher. Do you think that dropping that to the next lower level would benefit the adjustability of the caster?20210218_181056.jpg 20210218_181036.jpg

I explored almost everything you could think of with alignments after lift on my 2017 Platinum. I had an issue that my truck felt like it had low caster cause the steering was beyond sensitive to the road. Multiple different shops told me the rear height is not going to make much of a difference to the adjust ability of the caster on the truck. As your already talking about everyone recommended UCA's. It seemed like where we think the cut off for UCAS is a anything over 3" of lift is wrong. I say that because the alignment shops all recommended them on anything over 2.5". Everyone says they hate toyotas because the alignment on them is best performed by Toyota but when you call toyota they say we dont really specialize on lifted applications. One shop told me that the stock UCAs on a tundra are very limited and make it extremely hard to get it perfect.

    Update.

Took it to local 4WP and a alignment with adjustment of the caster seemed to fix the problem. There is absolutely no rubbing anymore. Thank you all very much for your input.

In another update, I have BMC plates from BAMF for sale. $15.00
