Mine have gone kaput. Cleaned them tonight in 99% alcohol to no avail. Hoses are flowing fine. Any recommendations for replacements?

You can try soaking them in 'CLR' which stands for 'Calcium Lime Remover' available at most hardware stores.
    Worth a shot.

I can't find the link, but others here have used OEM misters from an FJ cruiser.

    Mists instead of stream.

Remember when people were re-directing the nozzles so they'd spray the car behind them when they were driving???

They stream. I used nozzles similar to these to replace the broken ones on a Pathfinder I used to own.

That’s what I did but the driver side already is clogged? I’ll see if the paper clip method will work. When they do work, it’s great, much better than a stream.

Here is a Mod Idea I tried with 50/50 success on my OEMs. I used a specialized small hand file to cut a horizontal groove across each hole on only one of my Sprayers. Things went well on both holes, but I went in for one more Hand Move and my file tip got stuck in one of the holes and snapped off inside. Situation fubar on that one Hole with the other Hole ‘Spraying’ pretty well with the new cut on it. A partial success!

Next time I’ll use a Dremel with a small skinny cutter wheel to Perfect the PHM Slot Technique. Another Original Free and Effective Mod for you to enjoy. I couldn’t source the ‘Land Cruiser’ or FJ ones people have mentioned about but never has been done here.

I’d love to see Paht Numbers and pictures if this is true.

Note: iisaami sent me his 2 sprayers as back ups (off pahts truck) and I put one back in to replace my Fubar’d. I have an extra to experiment on with Dremel when time permits. I actually prefer the OEM stream over spray so I may not ever do it again.

Another upgrade opportunity to Heavy Duty ‘Cold Package’ if your pump goes out. I have the HD and she pumps volumes man. A subtle twist in nuance of the thread.

I would really like to get some nozzles that shoot a spray. The stream is a joke.

FJ cruiser nozzles are plug and play - $30. They mist vs squirt.

07+ I think will work? It’s the newer bug eye FJ cruisers that will work, not the old FJ40’s.

Nice! How is the flow with these? You still get Mega flow or is it held back a bit due to spray/mist nozzle?
