Everyone has a lot of snow in their yards still but melting fast. The storm was in and out.......................

Real burger joints sell burgers only and some fries, Coke, or shake. No burrito's, donuts, or omelets. That's a diner..........

Made it to DIA and back this afternoon/evening. Roads are tight in some spots where the plows only made initial pass. I25 is cleared now. Peña and DIA is a disaster, even worse due to construction and lane closures out there. I think I caught air in the wife's CRV a handful of times while jumping some residual snow/ice we were unable to dodge due to traffic.

I did see several planes flying overhead my house on their final approach this afternoon so I figured they got the runways good to go. Roads were kind of rough in spots. I'm not too far from the airport.

Our side street gets a lot of traffic so it got better this afternoon. At lunch time people were still getting stuck a block away but by dark that intersection was almost clear of snow. The snow that's left will be a bitch in the morning because it will freeze up. The mailman will be able to get to our box with no effort tomorrow but will have issues on the side streets nearby.

You definitely got more down south than we did up north (Windsor). Fort Collins did as well, ballpark ~20". Trees are snapped and laid over everywhere over there. Things seemed to be burning off rapidly today, too. Difficult to see with nearly 2 feet of cover, but the roads were flowing with water today.

The street drain next to where I turn into the back was clogged with ice and the snow melt water was pooling up fast so I spent quite a bit of time clearing up the snow along the street up to the neighbor's house. Draining good now but I'm totally burnt out. Amazing how fast it melted today.

You guys use deicer? I don't buy any because I feel like it gets warm enough fast enough that it's not all that necessary.

depends on which way their driveways face. mine goes east and gets pretty good sun during the day. if i get it shoveled quick enough, i don't usually have issues. the entrance steps on the north facing side of the house though... those usually ice up pretty quick and stay that way.

It's moments like these I ask myself how these people fell through the cracks. What happened that they decided it was time to inflict this much hurt?

you stare at the abyss long enough, it doesn't take much to drag you all the way down. the system isn't set up to find all the people lost in the dark.

While this was an act of cowardice and anger, one does not get to this spot overnight. I am in no way sympathizing with the perpetrator, but with those on the edge. Those souls that have been pushed to enough desperation and fear that they perceive that their only way out is to inflict enough suffering on others that their own pain is eclipsed.

You're right. It's not set up for that. But perhaps it should work at finding those in the darkest places.

With all that said, how's everyone doing? Ya'll doin alright? It's been tough times for everyone the last year+. It's been rough for me too. I'm a PM away from a phone call if you need.

I'm holding any judgment on this perp's motives until more comes out. Not a time to quasi psycho analyze him at all. We know absolutely nothing about him. He could be a fully functional dude showing up to work every day but clearly wanted to kill and maim. Could be a total whack job. We don't know. That said.....I have zero sympathy for him. None. I don't care if he sucked his thumb up until high school. My sympathy is solely focused on his victims. There is pure evil in this world....sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with hitting a deep abyss or falling through the cracks. Seriously? Anything else at this point is pure gibberish. Just sayin.........smh

I agree 100% about his fate. I'm only holding back on postulating on why maybe mommy spanked him too much and caused him to do this...................
