This is the newest setup. Fully loaded dont sag at all. Just setup the weight correctly on your weight distribution hitch.

I’m finding that the hard camper shell is great I built a sleeping system with storage compartments for everything. I have a full size futon mattress that I cut into shape to allow the drawers to be installed. Super easy to pack my able, cooler, chairs, 6gal water, stove, made-shift pooper can, plus more. This allows my wife and kid to sleep in. The dogs just sleep in the cab.

There’s pros and cons to everything. So far this is working out for me. Everything else just goes on the roof rack.

Been building my own custom basecamp trailer; just started less than a month ago so it just has the RTT on the frame right now but I'll be enclosing it all with aluminum walls and a rear hatch..

You’ll love it. That’s a very popular model. Wish we would have got an Imagine, but we like the layout of this Transcend a lot. When is it coming in?

Haha, nice. You'll probably see me around more often. We just moved to the area this past November and we're about a mile South of the Walmart.

Nice! Make sure you check EVERYTHING out good. With all the high demand of RVs, I heard that they rush these things through. We took possession of ours December 2019. Right before Covid!

Is anyone looking for a black camper shell for a double cab?? I’m letting mine go. Don’t know the rules on selling items. Figure I would share on here.

Hey Chris, I'm sure someone in here would be interested in your shell, especially someone from your area. Best bet is to list it in the buy/sell thread for your area, if there is one.

It's a nice shell and someone will snap it up if the price is right

Here are the rules copied from the buy/sell section of the forum. Good luck with the sale.

    SELLERS RULES
    1. The subject-line of your post must be a description/name of what you're selling
    2. You must include a price for the item. If you aren't sure, put down a number and add "OBO" after it (Or Best Offer)
    3. You must include a picture of the item you're selling. It must be the actual item, not a manufacturer stock photo. It can be attached to the post, or embedded from other sites, such as photobucket. The item MUST be available for sale at time of posting. If its on a vehicle, make sure its removed. If you want to sell something, and its still on the vehicle, then you can make a thread after its removed, and ready for sale. If it’s in a box, it must be removed and shown.
    4. For local-pickup or regional sales, you must include your city in the post
    5. Specify the model year that the parts you're selling are made for
    6. When naming a price, take into account any fees that PayPal may charge you (under "Receiving purchase payments")
    7. If you are selling the item on an auction or classified site, you may link to the sale from your post-BUT YOU MUST still include a picture in the post.
    8. When the item you're selling is no longer for sale, please indicate so by replying to your sales thread. This helps avoid confusion among people seeing your post.
    9. Sellers may bump their threads only once a day (please remove previous bump)
    10. Carfax reports are not allowed to be sold via Tundras.com
    11. Please do not make multiple threads for the same items
    12. In order to offer lighting products for sale (as a business, not an individual selling parts from their vehicle), sellers must be on the official Tundras.com vendor list. This is due to overwhelming number of light vendors appearing on the site.
    13. No “feeler” threads.

    Anybody looked into turtleback trailers?

I haven’t seriously looked at them, but I stumbled across them and they looked pretty neat.

They seem really high quality and pricey. Very much an off-roading trailer. Lots of good marketing done for them by “LifeStyle Overland” on YouTube. In their most epic videos they tow it through Alaska and camp and wheel with it with their daughter. Pretty cool setup. They definitely make it work for them. They now have two separate rigs and no trailer. Think they’re on their third trailer now and their most recent IG said it would be for sale soon.

We have a 2020 Escape 19. Weighs only 3000lbs and I forget it’s back there behind the Tundra.

How do you like the lance? We have a FR rpod 190 now and it fits us for now, but just not built that well. Have had to fix a few things myself. Upgrading to a tundra from Tacoma next month so in the next few years we will also Upgrade RVs. Kinda doing some research and I guess lances are a little more higher end.
