I found y'alls info super helpful in figuring out what I wanted to do for a canopy, I went with the ARE MX, and have a full rear door still to come. Apparently some parts got backordered, and rather than waiting longer, they shipped it with the half door, and will swap it out whenever the full door gets in.

I ordered at the end of November, so ~13 weeks from start to finish. Well worth the wait for me.

How handy? What do you use it for?

I'm close. This is the next best mod because we usually stay in Frisco instead of Copper now and I have no parking garages.

That’s just it. I put everything on it depending on my what’s in my bed. When I ice fish with a buddy or buddy, all the sleds go in fill up. I can put everything else up top. Mostly fishing stuff for me but my traction boards stay up on trips as we’ve been stuck in the snow many times..from gear cases, to strapping duffel bags..Christmas trees, you name it. It’s been attached to that rack. I’d like one on my roof next..
I also once put a lawn chair on it and sat up there and drank a beer, watched a Colorado sunset..

I’ve had mine for 4 years. 1 year of that was off the truck left outside “sorta covered”. Decided to put it back on. Surprised it didn’t grow mold lol. I did clean the heck out of it tho. Now it’s built to overland with.
I recently installed a Prinsu roof rack. 0BAE40ED-A329-402C-8DD8-B09139A3BA8B.jpg1683275E-7DA7-477E-AB69-FC318524064C.jpg

That looks like the 2nd gen body panels so I bet it will be the same as long as it is the same bed length obviously.

In 2015 the tailgate got an 1.5" Thickness upgrade which can make the fit harder but this one looks like a 2nd gen to me?

Do you have a pic of yours to compare it too?

I found this forum because I’m trying to decide between this RSI cap or a LEER. How are you liking this RSI? I haven’t looked into dealers in Anchorage yet.

I love how Prinsu has other slots to place the first rail to use curved LED bars. If I had a straight LED bar then I would have used the diffuser rail. It still makes it look super clean!

I recommend the Prinsu rack for sure! When you do, post it! That foam box is perfect too. I see a lot of guys rocking them. I was lucky that I have two Pelican rifle boxes so I used one for my traction boards so I can lock it up and I just bought the husky box on top. Going to see how it holds up this weekend on my trip to the desert.

I got the absolute cheapest option I could find (other than adding a removable sliding front window) and it was $2300 CAD. $4000 isn't out of the realm of possibility but it all comes down to which model you want and the extras you add on.

I think mine installed out the door was 2600. Only option I chose to pay for was the fold down front glass. Leer 100xr.

Found this blue ARE MX back in November for $400. 6 months later I finally got around to having it painted and just picked it up from the shop on Friday. In it for a total of $1100 at this point. For me, it’s about functionality over anything since I’ve got a lot of dogs and travel with them and family a lot. If you can find one used, that’s the way to go. When I bought this truck I was really hoping not to have to spend another 3-4K on a cap.
