I just replaced my TRD OR 18" wheels with TRD Pro BBS. I like the look of the Pro BBS wheels, but not convinced yet that they look "that" much better than the OR wheels. Also, I have the TRD Pro suspension and Cooper 295/70 Discoverer XLT AT3 tires in both pics. The BBS pic also has 1" BORA wheels spacers vs. 1.25" and 0.5" added front lift from CB 0.25" spacer:

    What's the best way to black-out? Plasti-dip?

That seems to be the most popular way. Cheap, easy, and reversible. There are a bunch of YouTube videos explaining how to do it.

While the Pro BBS rims are awesome, if you are keeping some chrome on your truck I like the original TRD rims. They accent well with the remaining chrome. However, you cant go wrong with either set. They both look awesome!

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
Those PRO wheels look horrible. In fact, I'll do you a favor and come over there and take them off your hands so you don't have to look at them anymore. And out of the goodness of my heart, I won't even charge you. Sound good?

You're so very considerate and funny at the same time. How could I refuse such a generous offer?
Unfortunately, I had to sell a kidney buy these dang things, so I'll be keeping them even if begin to not like the way they look!..sounds a little like marriage?:D
Now, the OR wheels and another body part might need to go one day to help pay for that supercharger I want.

I'd say the BBS look better than the TRDs as-is. I was in the same position with mine as well—I ended up selling the BBS Wheels, then bought a set of brand new take-off TRDs for $200 and had them powder coated. I still think the BBS wheels look slightly better, but I came out way ahead in the cash department going the powder coat route. All comes down to what you like best, though!

My '07 is currently rolling on SR5 alloys that are painted white, the BBS Forged wheels with custom center cap will return with warm weather. The A/T tires pictured are on the SR5 wheels, I have lighter M/S tires on the Pro wheels.

Sorry OP but the OR 18’s look much better. The mix of chrome/gray metals and black are awesome on any color but especially on white and silver. And the red TRD wheel caps equals awesomeness.

I agree. OP, several folks on here have had their TRD OR wheels powder coated black...I’m not a fan of the newer TRD pro BBS wheels. Here’s my set up...
