It was luck me finding these dark hyper silver rims. I bought them from an older gentleman in late 2016. He bought a step side Tundra new in '03 and swapped out his OEM rims with only 100 miles on the truck. Then they sat in his basement until I bought them...and I didn't expect them to be the darker silver. That was a bonus.

I believe I paid $400 for the set...

I'm a little bias but do feel these are the best of the OEM rims (and those on the early 90's Toyota pickup)...

I definitely messed up. My oem wheels that came with my 03 where hyper silver 5-spokes and I sold them to a guy in temecula. Should have kept them to pass them on to my friend so I could still look at them.

Here is the lot picture they sent me from the dealer before I bought it.

I think the base model 6 cylinder single cabs had those small tires...the Acccess Cab and Double Cab V6 and V8s had 265x70x16 or 265x65x17. Am I wrong?

Mine came from the factory with 265/65/17s. Took me quite a while to get rid of these wheels.

Nice, I'll look there. It would be nice if there were medal ones that could be painted as well.

Now this is interesting. Matte bronze on this rim. I personally would like to see that.

I don't like it in silver...but in that gunmetal grey it looks pretty damn good...I'd like to see it in that color on a truck...

Those wheels are on about 50% of 4runners so they can be had for a song.

I just bought this truck and was told the wheels are 2018 4runner. They look OK from the side, but really don't fill the space. I'm guessing if I lower the truck and remove the flares it would look way better. OR...mo bigger wheels/tires! I'm vertically challenged though, and can just about get in it now.

Dirt Deeds injectors, Addco rear sway, AEM dry flow air filter, last ever set of Stan's Try-Y headers, Borla full custom exhaust, front level, wheel spacers, and lots of electronics.
Throw some 1.5" spacers on there. It will push the wheels out to the flares.

Well, yeah, they were from a 2018. They're not my cup of tea either, but the guy selling the truck didn't give me wheel/tire options.

I'm a big boy and don't mind the comments. I appreciate all the help I get on the forums and the banter makes it even better. If we all had the same opinions life would get boring real fast.

If more people in this country had this attitude about things in general, things wouldn't be such a shit show on so many levels at the moment...
