Harder to get than people think here. My cousin has a litter of black pugs and offered one for free. I'd rather get another fawn because black ones are even more heat sensitive but this offer fell in my lap. The poodle we have been babysitting since October is going back home early May so my pug will need a buddy.

Rescues being scarce is a good thing. I worry to much for pugs and english bulldogs, they have medical problems quite often.
Pug #2 riding shotgun with pug #1 sounds like good plan. I tried something similar but it didn't work out as planned. These 2 really dislike each other but they are inseparable.

Street dog Scruffy aka beautiful, yes he thinks his shit don't stink

And 9 lbs of furry. Lil bit aka pork chop, he loves to eat

    Great looking dogs!

I'm all for rescuing, most dogs I have had were from people who couldn't keep them and I got them to avoid trips to shelters. My wife and I tried going through several rescue places from Feb through May, they all made it impossible to "qualify". In our area this has obviously become a business where small shelters are picking up nice dogs from real pounds and turning them for profit. The real pounds couldn't let us see dogs in person at the time. We ended up getting our dog from a guy who claimed to be in San Diego but turned out to be in Tijuana, its a long story. I still consider him kind of rescued, who knows what his fate could have been. He was under weight and full of tics when we got him.
    media0.jpg

He's way healthy and happy now, and 100% Mexican.

Here's our new throw away covid dog. It was a brutal 6 months of training to get her up to speed. She had not experienced planet earth when we got her so everything was new experience. She is pretty fun now. This dog can jump in the back of my truck with the tailgate up.Do we have any Stonnie Dennis fans around here?

My families covid dog, Didn't get him through a rescue. He was actually found by my aunt and uncle, they searched for the owner for about a month and so we took him. I dont see him that much anymore but hes very friendly, alittle too friendly actually.

Decided to make a little project outta a raspberry pi and an old Mac mini case. Was sick of the dvd cases in the minivan for the kids and so I threw a bunch of movies on this to plug into the rear video screen.

Actually I saw a squirrel and got distracted today after paying taxes. Checked ‘el log’ and still have another 1k miles left on the rotate interval so I crawled under and pre-gamed the fuel pump swap. Squirted some penetrant and various errata.

Greased the zerks on drive shaft which always makes me happy. Topped off my oil at the high tick. Checked Trans Fluid level... good. Circled back to check for any leaks at the Derale Temp Valve... nada.

All systems go for tomorrow.

Call me stupid but not fully sure. It’s a KODI version of LibreELEC. Basically skinned to look like an Apple TV GUI. First one I found and it works for my use. Won’t have RetroPie for games but that’s ok. Just needed a movie player. Have a set of wireless USB SuperNES controllers that work as remotes so those are being used as well instead of a keyboard/mouse.

If you want both you can install kodi on retropie. It is an option in the retropie settings. Kodi is good stuff.

    Oh, we doing dogs now?

Both of mine are rescues. Roomba is a black lab/border collie and is probably smarter than like 12% of humans. Binx is a chihuahua/pug and man, he’s just all kinds of wonky. These dudes are straight up ride or die though and I couldn’t imagine a life without dogs.

Binx with his sweater and pink bunny. He doesn’t chew he squeaker, he bonks it with the end of his snout. It’s one of the wildest things I’ve ever seen.

I see we are doing pets today. Here are 100% completely normal, run-of -the-mill dogs. The white one is Taz and the sable is Bandit.
