ReadyLift 2.5/1 or Toytec 2.5/1?

    Hey All,
    Just purchased a 2018 tundra and need to get a bit more ground clearance. Thinking of doing a 2.5/1 spacer kit. But was wondering if I should go the route of the ReadyLift or the Toytec. Don’t want to do anything to the suspension just yet because I want to do a nice Toytec down the road. Let me know thoughts and opinions... would love to see some pictures of people running this. CHEERS!

    I wouldn't waste money on a spacer kit. IMO put it towards a coilover lift.

    275/70r18 Cooper AT3 XLT on SCS Ray 10s, Eibach Coilovers, DD 12" Exhaust, AJT Blackout Kit, Truxedo Pro X15, paint match/chrome delete.
    You won't get a lot of recommendations for spacers around here. Many have them and are just fine on nothing more than street driving. If you're planning any sort of off roading, even just bumpy fire roads or beach driving you'll be better off with a true suspension lift. Plenty of options out there for around $1k, Eibach Coilovers, Bilstein 6112s (if you can find them), OME, etc.
    As mentioned above, the Bilstein 5100s are only slightly more than a spacer kit and you'll be much happier with them.

    Spacer is ok for daily pavement driving so if you’re doing that it’s fine for a temp fix. Off road or anything other than smooth pavement won’t impress you.

    Congrats and welcome first off... No love for spacers lift... Almost went that route, but after reading suspension thread and lots of feedback from members, I saved and Cried once, Pay once... Plus I waited for the Black Friday sale from Toytec towards the 2.0 Aluma series Coilovers lift with everything you need, support drop brackets, hardware, etc...Straight forward install.... Like MANY others, you want to lift and want it NOW... Your truck deserves better... Save up for the Aluma kit 2.0/2.5 and smile every time you drive down the road!!!
    Pix of said lift with 18x9 Wheels/ +25 offset, Falkens Wildpeaks AT3, 295/70/18s...No rubbing, removed small front flap.... Rides better than factory... Good luck

    Thanks for the advice. Have you or do you know anyone running the Eibach? I spoke with Andrew at Toytec and he mentioned it could be a good option. Will I need to replace the control arms if I go that route?

    Yep, I've had them on for about a month now. Very happy with the ride. They ship them preset to level the truck, and they used the TRD Pro as the benchmark for that. Adjustable from 0-2.75". No need for UCAs unless you max them out and add a spacer to go above 3". Long term durability remains to be seen, but I see no reason to be concerned about that. For the price I don't think you can do much better in a true coilover.

    Honestly, get what you want.
    I get that a leveling kit isn't the best for off roading, but I live by rural/ranch areas and have gone down horrible dirt roads, FL sugar sand trails, etc and never had a prob with my old 2013 SR5 2wd, so I don't see a prob with using a leveling kit on my new 2018 TRD Offroad 4wd. I plan on doing some mild offroading. My brother has a hunting lease in St Cloud on a ranch that he gets his F250 stuck all the time and we usually go to Georgia to vaca in cabins in the mountains.
    If I were rock crawling, living in the mountains, or hard offroading, then I might be able to accept the cost of some of these shock,strut,coilover kits, but I can't justify the $$$$$.
