Today as I opened storage box, I decided the engineers should have set up the boxes with power locks and alarmed the lids/doors. That would be so much better! Get it together Toyota!

That was after tax and all. Its all good though, I put 20k down and got 1.79%. I'll pay it off in a year.

Thanks for reminding me about getting bent over by the state for the $2300 tag tax title fees. Leaves me close to 46k, and the damn thing still needs the trans oil cooler so that it will hopefully last a good twenty years or so.

Selling mine as soon as Method Roosts are back in stock (which I'm told is at the end of March).

Hey folks, excited to say I just joined the Trail owners club. 2 Weeks till my new Army Green gets delivered. While I wait, time to order some mods. Anyone got an update on hard tonneau covers that work with the Trail bed boxes? Also, what are your favorite leatherette seat covers that won't break the bank? Thanks so much.

    Welcome.
I'll probably go with the Clazzios. I think they're around $600. Don't know which hard cover would work, but the Truxedo Pro X15 works great.

The Agricover Access Premium cover fits great with the trail rails. I love the mounting system and I like the textured vinyl material. Past Access covers have proven to be very easy to clean and keep looking nice. You're right, it's great that there are several options!

I wish I had some photos of the mounting hardware handy, but here's the shot right after I got it installed about a week ago.

Another thing about the Access line - the Lorado is a much lower profile rail system. I had the Lorado on a prior truck and wanted to try another model on this. Installing this on the Tundra bed was SO much easier than putting the Lorado on the 8' bed of my '96 Dodge Cummins. The way the hardware fastens on the trail rails makes install a snap.

Does this shut off when you open the door? My factory Mazda does that and it's the worst thing about the whole car. I've read others saying the factory Toyota remote start does the same.

Nope, this one runs for 15 minutes before shutting off and all you have to do is jump in and turn the key before the 15 is up and you're good to go.

About to pull the trigger on a new Trail Ed. Curious, do these have blind spot monitoring standard?

anyone found an aftermarket color matched front bumper cap for AG?

I'm pretty sure that's part of the package. Mine has it.
Might check sparkparts.com for those caps.

No blindspot monitoring on mine. As of now, you'd have to buy a bumpershellz and get it painted at a shop.

Thanks guys! Hoping to work out the details in the morning. Tough to find one of these in Cement or AG right now... anywhere in the US!

No blind spot monitoring on mine either.

I went with black bumper shells for the front and really like the look.

Mine that I just received about three weeks ago DOES have BSM. I just looked at the sticker and it has the "Convenience Extra Value Package" as well as the Trail package. The BSM is in the convenience package, but I honestly thought you couldn't get the Trail package without the convenience package? Good luck on your search! Like many, the ONLY thing I feel like I'm missing on the Trail Edition is the LED headlights.

in my opinion if you can't see cars beside you and be aware of your situation then you probably shouldn't be driving. Just sayin, bsm is ridiculous! Soon technology will have dumbed everyone down into a bunch of useless pussies with mush for brains. Be careful what you wish for!
