If I ever do another set of headlights, I might just use that for the paint.

If it has been removed, and you are near TX, I know a dude who just removed one with all factory hardware and decent looking bushings.

I bought a beast tonight. No room in the garage yet for it. But $500 plus 2 tanks... I’ll fucking nab this thing. It’s Duty cycle means it can weld for a long time. And it can even do aluminum too.

The good ol' days of having little enough stuff to fit it all in a truck.
I can fill a box truck with the garage and basement (car stuff) storage room. *no cars. just tools and parts

Brother I know exactly what you're talking about. I've trim down my inventory substantially over the last few years but the tools, tv and stereo just can't go anywhere near what I have hoped for. Management & I are going to be moving into a 1 bed 2 bath in the near future, I may have to make that bathroom vanity into a toolbox

If I get my way, the Mrs and I will do the same. We're in a 3 bed, 2 bath 3300+ sq ft monster for two of us and a 26lb Corgi.
TF we need that much house for?

To top it off, I have a small 2-car garage under the master suite and topography that almost completely prevents me from building an outbuilding of usable size.

I've been paring back my collection for 4.5 years. I'm trying to minimize everything I can so when the time comes, it doesn't take me a week to pack the garage and related sundries.

Story sounds a lot like what we went through 6 years ago. 3/3 2,800 sqft house for management & I plus 2 little rescue dogs. We got down to 1,500 sqft with a garage and now the plan is to go even smaller. If all goes well this year we should be in about 1,100 sqft and no garage. If you leave it up to me, 4 walls a shitter and the beach.

I'd like ~1500sqft house with 1200sqft garage nestled in a forest or on a mountain.
The beach is ok, but not anywhere I want to live.

I tried to downsize auto stuff with a little cheating. donated a car filled with everything I own related to the brand to a museum. the stuff i missed I gave away to an enthusiast. Still finding stuff, like a hood blanket. helped a little, but need to pass on the mercedes stuff still & then I'll be down to only a ton of Toyota stuff & bits. I really thought donating all that stuff would work a miracle, but alas no.

I like that but the cold in the mountains is something my ass cannot do anymore. The scantly clad woman on the beach just makes the days go by so much more enjoyable

I don't want to live at the beach (I lived in FL for 3 years very close to the beach) but I don't want to live too far from it. If I can't get there in a days drive....it's too far.

I wouldn’t mind living near a beach so long as it’s just for residents. Preferably someplace over a 1/2 mile long so I can go kitesurfing.

I grew up on the National Lakeshore in NW Indiana. I loved it. Beach year-round. I even swam in January a time or three.
But my favorite memories of the beach were when it was empty aside from me, or my friends and me. A crowded beach is just a sweaty shopping mall in my eyes.

We just moved into a 3bdrm/2.5bath (1800sq/ft) with 3 car tandem garage and partially finished basement. Came from a 1k sq/ft house with single car. I thought I had a lot of shit before moving here, but now I don't have enough shit to fill any of the rooms

I'd kill to have a 3 car garage but it's not that common around here until you get up into the mansion size homes. We've got an offer accepted on a 2,500 sq/ft house with an oversized 2 car garage. Stoked to get out of this 850 sq foot home we started renting last year.

We purchased 1/2 acre with 105ft waterfront, property lines go about 20ft into the water so privacy I now have. I just have to figure out how to either fix up the house or replace it.

We have a downstairs family room (great room? living room?) with a couch and two chairs (lounge? barcalounger? reclining?) that we've spent ~13minutes in since we moved into the house in August of 2016. The couch is close to 15 years old and was moved from our second living room in our first house to our second living room in our current house. It's damn near new. If I could get the wife on board, I'd unload everything not in the 5 rooms we actually use.

Based on the pictures, you might want to build something on stilts.. and buy flood insurance.

We've got a little one due in May, so needed the extra space. Plus, we moved 10 minutes east from the Foot Hills of Colorado and the price of homes dropped $50k - $100k, and we are actually paying less on a mortgage than we were for rent. It's absolutely insane how expensive houses are out here.

It presently is and has to be on stilts/pilings. Problem is the $$ politics $$. Dept of Health, County planning board, county zoning commission, DEP, FEMA, army corps of engineers and I'm not sure who else but I'm positive they'll let me know when they're ready to collect.

You think things are expensive there? What is the price per square foot around you? I keep thinking there's no possible way our housing prices could get any higher and am dumbfounded almost daily. Luckily, we have a house and just did an addition before COVID. So I'm not ever moving again.

Yeah, we were blown away when we upgraded our TV to a 4K. Suggestion, take one of CO's finest edibles and watch Planet Earth.

    I've heard it's amazing. Can't confirm. :anonymous:
