Just brought home my 2019 limited TRD and am really happy.Have scoured the forum and hate to start a thread but couldn’t find the solution i need.I’m looking at all the leveling/lift options and all I want is basically the equivalent of a 3/2 or 3/1 kit and not sure if the bilstein 5100’s will get me to the 3” because I’ve seen different numbers depending on the website including bilstein.Just want to keep the stock TRD rims and not fill up too much of the wheel well and am thinking 275/70’s.Sorry for posting but tired of trying to find the solution and on top of looking at so many trucks online and in person my patience is about shot. Thanks for any help.

If you do a 3/1 or 3/2 it’s gonna look a bit weird with 275/70’s...I can show you pics of the two weeks I had 3/1 with 275/70s after my lift and before my tires came, and it was goofy lookin.

My wheel well is over 40 inches. So a 32” tire leaves a lot of space. I went with 35’s and almost wish I went bigger.
    Then (32.5)

I’m using the stock 18 trd rims and right now it has a 1.75/1 and just want a little more lift.I like the way yours looks but maybe I might want a little bigger tire but not sure ,can’t figure it out.

First picture looks goofy..it’s just too little tire. But maybes it’s me. My bumper also lends to open space. The whole “skipped leg day” joke definitely applied when i was lifted with 275/70s

What would you suggest for no rubbing with the stock rims?I know I need to s-can the stupid front flaps but don’t really want to start carving up the other stuff if possible. It’s rough because I’m used to my dodge 3500 I had with a 4.5 lift and 35’s which looked great but took me awhile to figure out that combo.

Toytec Ultimate lift is a good option, uses 5100's and their (Eibach) spring for a 3" lift.

I recommend skipping the spacer lifts if you can and not skipping leg day. I did the full Dobinsons 2.25” lift and love it. I fit 285/75r18 on the stock rims with no wheel spacers. There was a slight rub on the sway bar which was removed and added a bash plate. The rub would have never caused a real problem. The removal of the sway bar was negated by stiff springs. 275:70 was too small. Careful on the Dobinsons lifts they can provide more than advertised lifts, but mine is perfect for me. I’m getting bumpers this week and already dreaming of rims, lights, and whoa... but yeah I think Daisy looks pretty good so far.

this looks like a 285/75/18 tire. This requires very little work to fit with a 3 inch lift due to the narrower width over the 35x12.5. This should also work if the lift you choose ends up a bit under full 3 inches. This is mine at 2.5 inches with 35x12.5 and I’m wishing I went with 37’s (I did do a BMC and had to lose all the plastic from the stock front bumper prior to adding the C4 front)

This looks great but it is worth noting too that some brands of tires run smaller. My Falken are more like 34” and BFG aren’t the biggest 35” for sure. But get a Toyo MT/RT and it’s probably true to size.

The smallish 35” BFG is nice though in some ways because you’ll probably avoid a BMC.

Very true. The width will complicate things more than the height though. Also a stock wheel can be a bit narrow for a 12.5 inch wide tire but good for 11.5

Do 5100’s get you to this much lift?

I’m sure there’s threads about this ad nauseam. But I think they can go up to 2”. Notably they preload the coil spring to get lift. This is worth noting as it will make the spring stiffer the more lift you go.

The 5100s should be around 2.25”. Their website lists them at 2.28”. If that is the route you want to go you could always look for a full 33” tire or a small 34”. You could always try going up one tire size and see if that scratches the inch since you have a small lift already.

5100's with an Eibach lift spring on the second clip setting will be 3"

Anybody know if 295/70r18's will fit with stock TRD offroad wheels with 5100's at the top setting (2.28") with no spacers?

I'd say not on stocks and probably need some bumper spacers/chopping.

Think it’ll fit but they will be close to the UCA, which isn’t a real problem but a perceived issue.if they actually rub you could always add a 1.25” spacer.

Hesitant to run spacers. Would like to avoid if possible.

Don't be, there's lots of guys running spacers on overlanders, dd's and even long travel. The key is quality spacers and the correct torque specs, wheels cost a lot more... but also look better :D

Here is a couple of pics as a reference, Trd pro suspension with coach builder Trd pro kit. 1” spacer up front and +2 shackles out back. Equivalent to a 3/1.25

    285/70/18 ridge grapplers

    1.25 spidertrax wheel spacers.

I do mild off roading in the pine barrens of southern New Jersey, and have 25+k miles, no issues with spacers. As mentioned, there are guys/gals on this site that use spacers and do real off-roading with no issues that I have read.

I believe that my rims have a +50 offset and your rims have a +60 offset. Being you have a limited, I think you have 20” rims and I have 18” rims.

There is so much info on this forum about wheel offsets, wheel and tire combos you could read for days. Good luck !
