So before I get too deep into my own thought has to what may have happened and when I return to work on Tuesday to ask some folks, I'm bored at home and this issue is consuming my mind, so I'm going to bounce it off of you all here.

Friday night I swapped some tow mirrors off of a 2007 Tundra with my standard OEM mirrors.
Plugged it all up, made sure the motors were working and the heated features seem to work and then placed my panels back on.

Last night I went to use my High-beams and noticed that my fog lights would go off (as per normal) the blue indicator on my dash illuminated but my actual high-beams no longer flip on.

These are retrofitted lights courtesy @eledobleu and were working fine before I swapped the mirrors as the night before I had to use my high-beams as I normally do, due to my drive home taking me down some dark roads.

Could I have blown a fuse some how, or overlooked a wire in the door that I left unconnected or something?

With the tow mirrors having those lights on them, and my OEMs not having any, is this the issue?

Thank you for any input :)

If your parking lights still work, my guess would be coinkydink. The only wire in the mirrors that would have anything to do with your lights would be the running lights which are on a separate fuse from the brights. All that said, it never hurts to check your fuses. If that doesn't pan out (and this is a stretch) unplug the connectors that go to your mirrors and see if your high-beams start working again.

That's weird....but like stated above, first thing I'd check is the fuse(s).

    Good luck!

Your Motocontrol harness is responsible for relaying the high beam signal from your factory wiring to the solenoid on your projectors which makes the physical action of turning on your high beams.

If all your fuses are good I would check the connections on your Motocontrol harness. The connection to your factory headlight wiring, and the ground.

To diagnose if it is your Motocontrol relay you could always plug a factory bulb in the empty side (not connected to anything) and see if the high beam goes on. If it does, the factory wiring is good and the Motocontrol harness needs to be looked at more thoroughly.

    Good luck!

due to weather today I couldn't get to the truck to test my concerns. Way too much rain. If I notice a sound when attempting to turn on the high-beams, almost like a click or thud sound, could that be what your referring to?

The solenoid on the projector (fancy for a little metal bar that moves up and down, that bar gives your horizonal cutoff) does make a clicking noise when your turn on the highbeams. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the projector, but when that metal bar lifts up it eliminates the cutoff and allows all the light to shine through.

If your Motocontrol Harness isn't working properly, your solenoids aren't being told to lift up. From what I have heard, neither are prone to failure after they have worked a bit like yours, which is why I would check the connections on your harness.

With all that being said, I don't know if the factory relay for your high beams would make a clicking noise.

I got what you're saying. Will try and check those out once either weather cooperates or I can get a free spot on the shop.
Thanks for the tips and knowledge!

Anytime. I'm not a Tech though, but I did get to check out the parts of the retro when I did mine and did some high beam diagnosing myself. While mocking up my wires and testing things for my retrofit I had an intermittent problem with my solenoids not working properly while on the truck. I removed the solenoids and tested them with a 9v battery over a hundred times each with zero malfunctions. Then I cleaned my ground to my Motocontrol harness up a bit and the issue went away. After I installed the retrofit I haven't had the issue again.

So I was able to narrow down to what appears to not be a blown fuse, but a loose connection with the fuse. The one connector that holds 2 togetheer seems to the culprit.
Now I just need a more permanent solution to hold it in place

Nice. For what its worth, I've solved a similar problem by stuffing a small piece of rubber between the casing and the loose terminal half. The "springy" nature of rubber, keeps a constant pressure on the terminal, insuring good contact with the fuse leg.
