It's a definitely a great mod. My butt dyno told me so.

Can't wait for the salt roads to clear and test the truck with it installed.

Installed mine last weekend. Can’t tell any harsher of a ride on pavement. Truck is much more responsive in handling though (ie no slack in the truck turning when I turn the wheel).

Will have it on ranch roads within a week and will see if there are any impacts on mild off-roading.

Did I read instructions correctly, if you have factory trailer hitch, you don’t use washers b/w spacers and frame?

Overall, very happy with this mod.

Correct. The hitch frame is the 'washer' in that instance.

Looks great, a future! Mod definitely. Especially with the lifted rears , it will stick out big-time.

I would greatly appreciate more feedback from you because of the ranch roads. Some of the pavement roads I travel are like “ranch roads”. I am really on the fence with this mod. I love how my Offroad sucks up the rough roads around me like a champ and I really don’t want to sacrifice that quality...

I had my new 2021/1794 factory installed my rear sway bar before they delivered to my home on the their truck bed from Hermistion, OR... I noticed some clunking sound coming from under the truck... anyone experience this issue or am I going crazy??

Scurry under there to check to see if it's tight. Are you handy enough to check the torque on the sway bar? Another option would be to have a dealer take a look at it if there's one nearby.

99% sure I'll order a rear sway from McGeorge......seems to be the best price for that part number. But I did find one for a Sequoia....is it the same? I only looked because I saw a member here post up this number while I was doing a search for sway bars. It's over 100 bucks cheaper, and says it comes with all hardware and it's TRD?
    https://www.discountpartsmonster.com/oem-parts/toyota-trd-sway-bar-rear-red-ptr620c181

-Of course, none of the sites say any sway bar fits my Limited since it never had a sway bar....

It just occurred to me that I've never looked at the underside of a Sequoia let alone the factory rear sway bar... It wouldn't surprise me that they would not be interchangeable with the Tundra given the differences in the types of rear suspension, but I've never looked into it. That's a good, valid question.

Although for that price I was kind of curious about it but.....I found the one with the part# everyone is getting and they carry that too....for $209.00 plus shipping....so there must be a difference.

    - I decided to play it safe and just ordered one from McGeorge....$218.50 delivered. Great job to whoever found that!!

Probably a dumb question but is the rear sway bar compatible with a small lift? Am stock right now and would like to add this before the upcoming tow season. Then, when the skies part, I plan to add ~1-2" in the rear. Thanks in advance!

I put the truck through the paces this weekend. Both washboard gravel roads and driving around on the roads/trails on the ranch. I can’t tell any loss of ride quality from the sway bar whatsoever.

Just installed mine. It was heavier than I thought it would be. Pretty easy to install...hardest part was getting up/down off the garage floor a dozen times. Tightening down the U-bolt nuts evenly to 48 ft lbs. was a little sketchy...I was wondering if my torque wrench would ever click....it finally did...lol.

You read it correctly from what I seen. I do have a stock hitch so I had two washers left over.

It made a world of difference in how it handles around town....

    question:

Was considering a purchase but see two different ways to install the rear sway bar.

Rex Kramers install in post 21
    then post 15 by 1lowlife
    post 24 by Toolaholic
    post 25 by Cincyota

Why the different 2 methods of install?
