Yo Jake! The tails won’t come apart in the oven, they are plastic welded shut. The only way is to cut them. Headlights can be cooked, though. Your tails look badass!

Good to know. And thanks! Knowing that the headlights will actually come apart I might give those a try when I have a free weekend. Have you by chance cracked open OEM LEDs? I would imagine there’s no real issue there but also don’t want to nerf a $900 set of headlights by being an idiot lol.

I’m hopeful that you can rid yourself of those farging iceholes ASAP. Best of luck with the vermin It will clean up and then you need to figure out how they’re getting in:mad: must find source

Yes, I’ve opened the OEM LEDs. There are more screws and internal parts, making things a little more difficult, but they came apart. I was just fixing someone’s sealant. Their light was leaking.

Yep. Thought I got off easy.. nope. Gotta take the dash apart this weekend to fix whatever shitshow is happening with the fan they created. The entire dash shakes violently when the heater is turned on. Sounds like theres a hunk of fabric stuck and its smacking off something. Assholes.
Doing the tow mirror install this wknd (IF I GET MY EFFIN REPLACEMENTS, SPARKS..) so will be tinkering anyways, meshing every opening and the trucks getting peppermint spray and being parked in the garage at work from now on rather than outside.
At least on a positive note, I replaced my old shitted out stock battery with an agm so I got that going for me.

I had a very similar experience to you last summer. If you remove the wiper cowel youll find a ~3"x10" air inlet that opens directly onto the cabin air filter. I sealed mine up with some fine stainless steel mesh and the airflow in the cab seems the same ... No problems since
