Anyone know of a bed mat that isn't so tacky that I can't slide things to the back? I want the mat more to eliminate the pain of kneeling on the ridges in the bedliner as opposed to using it to keep things in place. It also would be cool if it was lightweight and rigid enough that I could slide it out as needed to more easily access things in the back when I have the tonneau rolled out.

That's actually not a bad idea. Cut some handles into it and off I go.

I used plywood aswell, but 3/4". Added ball bearings underneath and routed a handle..easy peasy.

What kind of ball bearings? Or what "style," I supposed would be the better word.

Thank you. Do you use any kind of stopping bar, etc? Something to keep it from rolling out on a slope, etc. I have a couple thoughts in mind already. Just curious how you go about it.

I use a heavy duty rubber anti fatigue floor mat. It does make it easier on the knees. It doesn't slide out like plywood but it easily can be removed to hose off if dirty.

Haven’t tried it my self as I have a spray in, but the liner from weathertech might fit the bill.

I have Toyota branded rubber bed mats in both of my trucks, the one in the 1st gen long bed is extra thick and heavy. Both are laying on Line-X, and both save my knees. Neither slide in & out, and most things don't slide around on the mats as long as I don't drive like a maniac.

    Haaaaaa.

Last thing I need is to open the tailgate on my sloped driveway and catch a 3/4" plywood to the chest.
